Because we're not bored and we still have reasons to log in. I have no reason to cancel my sub. If I don't play a day or two a week because I'm doing something else, that's not money I consider wasted. My rule of thumb is I don't log in unless I want to and I usually want to. When I don't, I do something else for the night.
Your process is fine for you but there's no reason to be stunned that others have difference experiences than you do.

Predictability and consistency is what they TRY to achieve vs what other games have. It's a tradeoff, sure it might not make content as exciting because you know what should be there, but it's also reliable. Something you can easily plan your life around. Besides, the only similar parts are usually the Raids, Trials, Dungeons. As we have seen in the Live Letters for 6.1, we will be getting items not consistent, such as a new and revamped PVP mode, Hildebrand quests, Ultimates, etc.
