Really, I loved it for the sociability. It was just too fun when playing it with friends in a challenge. There was also a uniqueness too.
Honestly, I do admit that it was really for stubborn players who desire crazy challenges. To even play enough to make progress, you MUST play for like three hours at a time.
It kind of affected my schoolwork. Now that I have to put more effort into my life, I'm enjoying the fact this game also caters to casual players. Means I don't have to spend a year getting one level.
When I was upset with FFXIV when it began, I played FFXI again... only to find out I couldn't play it anymore. Did NOT keep my interest.

Because Monday nights were Dynamis Xarcabard nights. I miss our Dynamis camaraderie.

Because since I re-installed FFXI, I have only logged into XIV once for 10min.
