Steam payment HUGE price increase!

The SE disappointed me... As a protest, I personally will no longer buy any product from this company. Moreover, as a cheated buyer, I demand to return the money spent on the addition (stormblood). Before buying a stormblood, the SE leadership did not notify me that the subscription price in my region will be changed. Therefore, I consider myself deceived. This is my second account and the first one was buried precisely because of the expensive subscription in my region.

Well it's good FF14 good bye for me. It was good when it lasted. I only wished they have made this change before I brought Stormblood, cause I would like to have invested in something more useful, but no problem, not going to do that mistake again, it's time to move on. Also I'll probably not buy any more products of SE after this, but this is my choose as consumer, I just felt betrayed. Never again.

Yeah it's hard not to feel lied to or somehow cheated, the way this was done was completely shady and suspicious. I'm not sure how I feel about the game right now, I still love it, of course, but damn do we get treated badly sometimes...

Any hope that the maintenance today is gonna change back the value of the subscription ?

Nope. It was a intentional change not a mistake.

And I'll try to contact steam and get the game removed from the system,
Square scammers, it's obvious.They violated the user agreement and are obliged to return money to people in such a case

I believe that with this argument you might get an exception with refund. Maybe. Just maybe.

As a new player, i'm very disappointed in this move. The game is great, and subscription price was very affordable for russians, at least. I'm demanding a refund for stormblood, if you're not bringing back old prices for russian steam users, i just cant afford to pay 15$ every month for subscription alone. And now after this price "correction" the sub for game costs more that the game itself, are you serious?

many of my friends wanted to join the ff xiv afterthey saw stormblood and was asking me a lot about the game, but now, after they heard about mothly price increse they saidthey just couldnt keep it up. In Russia average salary is about 500eu with pretty high living expences, and having to pay another 12 for the game is just too much. I hope SE would reconsider this decision, as not only they will they loose a lot of old players, but forbid new ones from coming.

So... what about the auto renew option on Steam?

At least in Brazil the values of the auto renew did not change, are we to expect these values to be adjusted? Or we just sit and wait for another 'surprise'?
