Way too much cattering to the new players, you have 50 levels of content which are basically a tutorial, which btw, along the slow pace combat, has the most common and consistent bad point this game has in most reviews (combat sucks and dungeons are too basic), and now, the same is happening to the END GAME content. So, the only, not acceptable excuse, but the only one of "content is like that so later end game becomes more challenger" is gone, dungeon wise, everything feels like a tutorial for anyone with a functional brain and the ability to use maybe 10 of their skills.
Like those DRG spamming RoT against 3 enemies cause that is supposed to be a crowd and AoE damage is needed...
Why would we have to care about returning players in the first place? The game should care about being interesting and challenging enough so players don't leave in the first place! Ah! oh right, the lead director thinks is ok for players to away if the patch becomes too boring, thats why is ok for content to be bland and uninteresting and then is ok to catter to returning players, because content isn't made to be interesting in the first place.
Is a design problem, as everything with this game, the dev team should have the same consistency they had with Mhach, not nerfing it, they did great, they forced players to actually care about it. That should repeat, all across the board. The day they nerfed Sirius, a very bad trend started, one that has to stop, end game is called end game for a reason, if you are not ready and can't put up with it, you go back to lower levels, you gear up, and you care about your character development and performance. If you don't have the time for that, well, end game is not for you. -

I had this problem happen to me this patch, you obviously have never left during a patch or you've left after you geared yourself up. Why are you telling me what I should be on when I logged on and I couldn't do it? -

At the start of this patch I was i219 with Midian accessories including the belt but with 6 pieces at i240 including my weapon, that's one month and two weeks of doing raids weekly once and a bit of tome farming all the way back to 3.2... I bought an i220 ring to upgrade my i210 ring to meet the requirements for Alexander and earned lore while doing Alexander and the newest dungeons to boost my ilvl further and am now i233, sure I wasn't under geared even when "coming back", but it goes to show how easy gearing up is.Quote:
