Some seem to want to argue they have a right to see other's data. Personally, I don't mind either way, just being able to see my own information would be useful enough.

While I'm not against the choice, you should really think of what reaction people might have to someone hiding their numbers. Especially when things go south. Honestly think about it. Now looking at the rest of the parties numbers may not give them your exact numbers, but it wouldn't be hard to roughly know.

The only way this would be beneficial at all is, as Archeall said, you had two seperate DFs, one for parsing and the other not. I can tell you the queue times would be a lot longer in one than the other.

If they decide to be nasty, there's a separate lot of rules for that. Those people would be the same whether they could see numbers or not, frankly.

The reason I dislike parser is what happen in DCUO everyone rolled as a dps stance of their power and didn't work together at all, in WoW players became very exclusionary, and in ff11 people started to rag on your play style if you gearswapped or not.

I'm not insecure over my numbers, I personally have my battle info turned off but I still strive to improve, you don't need to be doing stuff wrong to seek to improve, and you don't need a parser to see your numbers to improve. You also don't need to have a parser to see what your party is doing.

You can tell if mobs are not dying fast enough for starters, you can see everyone hits easy, and you can infact turn on a chat log battle text to show your attacks or your groups attacks. What I dislike and have been fighting against is plsayers who say you can't play a game with out a parser or you fail.

If a personal parser system is added people will use that as a shi starting reaction to a wipe. I can see someone like sirdarts saying things like "wtf did you guys parse on the dummy? then saying LIES cuz we wiped" who would then kick the other dps. That type of behavior shouldn't be accepted in duty finder. Infact 9 times outa 10 it isn't "low dps" that can cause a wipe its people not working together.

Remember dps is dependent on too many factors, and shouldn't be a judgment call on who is good or not. Someone with a high dps can just be as much cause for a wipe then the supposed low dps. Alot of it comes from learning the content, not just the class. And learning the content comes from grinding it and experimenting when to push yourself and when to pull back.

And lastly having a paser system will not do any benefits, people who want to improve do improve regardless, people who don't, won't. Enforcing a parser will not change that. What it will do is is create exclusion in DF, which is the last thing we need. As parser systems are not very newbie friendly so if you have new players (who will not parse high as their are learning) people would just boot them, and site "difference in playstyle" as reason.

Which did happen in WoW/DCUO

Also on the terms of WoW a big reason this stuff wasn't an issue was due to addons being enforced by the community, which i know 5 that displayed your rotation, and what/when to use buffs and where to stand in boss fights.

Also you can't always say/prove that the parser is the reason behind optimal rotation and buff use, some of that came from experimentation on content and seeing how fast the mobs die.

This race in Ffxiv is Roegadyn in ff11 is galka is that ok now ? Roegadyn have more vit in my opinion he is best as tank not blm.

actually hellsguard roegadyn are tuned more to magic while sea wolf are more tuned to dps. Highlander have a bit more vit, while midlander is more even'ed out. Wildwood elezen have the better dex while the duskwight are again tuned to magic. Sun seeker are tuned to dps, while moon keepers are tuned to healer. Also, dunesfolk lalafell just have high piety, they don't have the best int in the game.

But again that has little to no value, stat points from each race evens out as you level up, and the bonus allocated points can aid you in that. I honestly think two things of you. 1) you bought your character. 2) are a troll.

What you just said is just silly, if you care on the 1-2 point difference race stats cause then why not go the full 9 yards and blame people for not having the right diety when facing off a primal, to have the max amount of elemental resistence.

I'm a female dunesfolk tank at the moment, and I keep aggro pretty fine, my hp stays pretty high. I could improve my emnity gain early on but I'm improving.
by what you said, just by race choice alone i automatically suck at tank. Even in ff11, some of the best tanking players was a tarutaru/lalafell. Its really about how the person plays not their race. Even the to 10% of the top 10% know this.

Prove pls maybe tank was dpsing more than dps ? I'm talking about savage contact not mobs. mobs my chocobo can kill it .

I've been gaming 27 years of the 30 years I've been alive, parser were made and introduced around the time of WoW's launch era. Possibly sooner with mods for elder scrolls online. I personally dudn't hear the term parse till about 2008, and even still no one used them they way people do now. At least in ff11, only as mmo became more mainstream did the negativity started to happen. Before parsers became the norm, players would literally just go out and kill stuff to test themselves. Also note ff11 was launched on the ps2 in japan first, which ermm ya... no parser.

Again you don't need a parser to see numbers, the battle log also has numbers, infact it goes a step further YOU CAN SEE WHAT SKILLS PEOPLE USE!!! << like really.
