Um this is a basic chocobo system. Just the start of a much larger and more complex system. You weren't able to breed chocobos when you could first get them in 11 either, that came later.

Wrong way round.

It would have been really cool had they introduced choco raising right at the start when chocos first come into the game. You could raise one right at the beginning and it would be with you all through your 'life' in the game.

I was really hoping SE would do this, after loving choco raising in XI, really disappointed now.

I wish 1 day SE adds mounting animation, so its not just instant pop... but besides that all cool :)

A big NO to riding chocobos in towns.
