How much gil do you have on you?

700-800ish. I try not to look to close.

And that is only because I gave up getting novus. Can't even afford to craft gear to spirit bond anymore.

"They have more than I have" could have easily meant combined as well. So the 16 retainers could have a total of 31 million, which is more than his 30 million pocket change.

61 million would leave you broke if you bought a large un-depreciated house in my server, and Goblin is by no means a large server. The pointless part is speculative; I can't speak for everyone but I'm anticipating the Golden Saucer and there isn't a number of Gil that feels like "too much", in case it will be used in some way or form.

I even guess that maybe Golden Saucer will put Allagan pieces to use so I have 5 stacks of tin, bronze, silver and gold. If they aren't used, I'm out nothing because I can vendor them for pure gil gain, and many of these I have gathered were bought for less than face value from the MB so I would even gain a small profit.

I was able to buy 5 platinum pieces as well, but those cost me more than they were worth :rolleyes:

500k ATM; was at 3.6mil when the patch went live but borrowed 3 mil from my raid SCH and bought the house of my dreams in Lavender Beds (did not actually want any other house, not even M or L ones lmao). Said raid SCH was at 13 mil pre-patch but has since spent nearly all of it helping various friends finance their homes. He has no crafts or gathers leveled...earned it all doing merc work.

Mercing might be seen as scummy, but there really is no easier way to make gil. And this is coming from me, a three-star crafter in all crafts but ARM and CRP, and a one-star gatherer as well.

23 million, bought a small house already, I have about 4 waiting to be Sold. I should have waited for a medium, but I thought they would be sold out right away.

I've got like 4.3 million on me now. I had about 9.4 million saved up before buying my house and some furnishings.

1.5 Mil and a fart.
Mostly gained through Roulette and Dailies, because Gathering is the driest most off-putting thing I have ever attempted in a video game, which means I won't be making any money through Crafting any time soon.

My most expensive purchases so far are occasional glamour prisms and a couple Beast Mounts.

Not enough to buy a small house on my server...

As a semi casual (full time job, few hours to play each day) I am wondering how much gil I accumulate in the course of a day... I started making a list of what I earned last night but realized that most of the gil I was getting was due to the challenge log's recent reset. I think I'll need to track this over the course of a week at the next reset.
