Restarted mine four times. Internet is fine but cannot connect to my usual data center all the others work

Can connect to other datacenters, but not Aether. Tried switching DX9/DX11, restarting router, switching datacenters (obviously), its a SE problem - not a client problem.

Just can't get in tonight...

Why does it have to close the game client every time we get the error??? It's so frustrating to have to continue putting in my login info, lol

So, when are the refunds going out?

I had been receiving this error as well and have been using the following solution to get around it:

1. Try and log into my main server (midgardsormr for my main). I generally get kicked out and see the 2002 or 5006 error.

2. I log back in and swap data centers at the main screen. Pick a different data server from your primary that has an alt character on it. I use the EU data server for my swap since I carry a lvl 17 alt there. You do not need to log in this character, just get to the character selection screen.

3. exit the character select screen and return to your primary data center.

I have had success with this method for 3 days now, only running into problems this morning, where I simply repeated the process and was able to play the game.

This works great - until you sit in a bugged queue forever that never even goes down.

Same issue here i was on before but cant connect now.

I keep getting 2002 when I login with dx11, switch server also gives 2002, I haven't successfully got into the game under dx11 setup during past days. but I can play fine under dx9 and never got a 2002.
No problem to dx version, and graphic card driver..thought it was just a update issue.
Anyone got same issue? Anyway to fix it?

Make sure the dx11 client is allowed in your security. There are two versions of the executables in the /games folder now. For some stupid reason I wasn't getting prompted like normal to allow the new dx11 version and had to manually add it.

Thanks for your reply, I tried to add ffxiv_dx11 in trust list, also shut down my firewall, reboot router, start game without any security, still 2002 nothing changes. Don't think the game supports GTX 980M very well or any other reasons? I'm totally in Isgard weather now (
