Quest-wise the only prereq is "The Scions of the Seventh Dawn" (part of the mainstory) and being level 50.

To get the item in the mail, you need to order it from the mogstation for the character of your choice - usually its being delivered within an hour or so. You should probably make sure that you picked the right character and have enough space in your mailbox.

You should also note that the Valentionesquest and "The Ties that bind" are to different quests - the Valentines quests starts in Gridania and you have til tomorrow to complete it, if you havent done so yet. "The Ties that bind" on the other hand is the "wedding quest", in which you'll get to marry your partner. You can do that at anytime of the year and its in no way related to our curent seasonal event. Please read the information on the lodestone carefully, though! Specially in regards to the marriage-plans you need to pay real money for.

Willing to transfer? Unlikely, unless you're really convincing. The FC I joined when coming back to the game recently has been really helpful so no real intentions to leave the Light datacenter at least at the moment.
Personal Interests: video games (I especially like strategy games, sometimes RPGs, also been playing the odd multiplayer FPS and the odd MMO), board games, sci-fi and fantasy media, actual science, etc.
Play schedule: I don't really have a fixed schedule. I'm currently playing from the US (and will be for at least the next half a year or so) but I also play late at night, early in the morning on occasion. A lot of my work is pretty flexible and I can do much of it at any time of the day.

I've been playing this game pretty casually so far (though I've started to play a lot lately) but I've also been part of hardcore progression raiding in other MMOs (server first boss kills, etc.) in the past so I'd be up for taking things more seriously too.

Goals for the marriage union: To be perfectly honest, when I came looking for a thread like this I was mostly looking for someone to help me grab the dyeable dress for glamour purposes and the 2-seater mount and that's still my main goal here and anyone up for helping me grab that is already all I hope for.

I have no real fixed raid static at the moment and I can probably be convinced to join in pretty much any content in FF XIV or dabble into pretty much any other multiplayer game for variety.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character?: Not entirely, hoping for an open minded female player; but ultimately doesn’t matter if you’re female, male, trans, gay, etc. I’m for everyone.

Dislikes: Savage content, liars, people who don’t put in effort, and elitists.

Goals: Just play, have fun, chill, and save the world with friends.

Goal in Marriage: Be their go to friend either online, offline, or in another game. In game relationships only, but a friend nonetheless. I’m a bit of a romantic, and just looking for someone to play the game with; not for items, not just for ERP, though it may be a thing, but I’m looking for it to be long term and worth while. Believe it or not, this topic is currently the THIRD longest, behind Show Your Miqo’te which is at 1140 pages atm, and Tales From Duty Finder, currently sitting at a whopping 1941 pages. What’s interesting about Tales in particular is the fact that it’s thread was created a whole 10 months AFTER Marriage Megathread, yet has easily blown it away in page number.
