Normally I am able to pull off the HT by slightly moving off to the side after the MT has moved forward on me, if I move to quickly, I turn Avatar, if I wait too long, lol I am eating homing missles and flooring the MT with the homing as well ^^

Try doing HT -> PLB -> ID on avatar to keep the up time of your DoTs on the Avatar. When the dread spawns and you're about to start the HT, from what I can gather, there should be approximately 8/7 seconds until the PLB falls off. It'll stop ticking in the middle of the Dreadknight kill. Even if it means you'll be clipping your DoTs, you'll get an extra 3 DoT ticks off on the Avatar reapplying it before you switch targets. So you'll be doing HT -> PLB -> ID instead, then go onto the dreadknight.

Doing DI -> CT -> TTT -> TrueT = 1441 potency

At the time of CT application, that's 10 seconds, so 3 ticks (90 Potency (290 in total).
DI = 220
(-10% piercing)
CT -> TTT -> True T = 1110*1.1 = 1221
=1441

Of course, if you want to be more pro, you can finish with a HT, then go straight into ID on The Avatar.

What you posted is 1411.166666666667 Potency

All be because you used DI at the beginning, and combo'd off Avatar :P I can't say anything more than this as I don't personally know the fight (raid group gone slightly casual), but if there's anything other complexities I need to know, let me know :P

I see where you are going with that Dervy, and yeah thanks, did not think about the dps loss of finishing off TT combo on the Dread with no Dis on it compared to reapplying Ph HT ID on the Avatar, will mess around with it a bit more.
Normally, the timing gets locked in once the fight starts, so adjusting to that, should be workable. Will give it a shot for sure, and let you know the results.
The only mechanics I am dealing with are the Homing, since I am the one eating them all. So up time should be very near 99%.

Off that topic, Str potions,
They effect the Dots from CT and Ph ? Or just the first hit of them ?

Yup! They affect the DoT's as well ^^. So go HT -> ID -> DI -> Pot -> CT -> PLB -> .....

was honestly getting the Pot off right after ID, and it would last just till I could get off FT. Mega pot was pushing a buffed FT to around 1600-1680, have not tried it yet with the X Str pot.

Yeah, the way we managed this I just watch the icon for brainjack on the MT, and move out away from the group and tank immediately as it wears. There should be enough time between the brainjack wearing and the homing missile detonating that no one else eats it.

Only problem I have seen is the... third Dread spawn ?? there is one spawn where during Brain Jack the homing gets delayed, so I have to wait a sec or so after the debuff drops to pick up the homing.
Most of the problems I have had with maintaining HT is just refining positioning, last night we tried a completely different set up to positioning, and although it made a huge improvement overall to the group and healers, it very much dampened my ability to see and catch the homings. Again, reps on the encounter and refinement will solve that. Thanks again for the tips and advice ^^

You can do it after the ID as well :) That's a DPS increase, but it means you'll be stacking 2 buffs together.

Yeah I feel you, ensuring you're in the correct position with brainjack up, the dread on top of you, and dealing with homing missle, it can get a bit hairy.

Sorry, been away for the weekend. No I'm almost 100% positive you just need a 50 ARM to meld it, but to craft is another story.
