The insult runs deeper than that, they took things away from us and gave it to everyone else. They gutted the class to hand it to others and left DRK's bleeding out. Then instead of coming up with anything to fix the gaping wholes from all the moves/concepts stolen they just bolted on other mechanics from other classes without giving a crap how it would be to play.

Reprise was our move, when we parried we could reduce the damage of an opponent by 10%, remember when we had moves that blinded and debuffed, when all tanks had 15% damage reduction due to tank stance but we could burn mana and enter darkside giving us only a 5% reduction, when we had mechanics. We all know delirium is inner release and blood spiller fel cleave, but lets not also forget that Living shadow is just the machinists mech but worse as we have zero control over it.

Then to add further insult to injury they took away sole survivor from us and then gave it to the new DPS class that took the DRK theme. Have any of you played the reaper story quest, it's basically DRK 2.0.

While I agree that the Paladins damage was an urgent need, the buffs to some of the other classes in the upcoming patch are no where near urgent, all it would take is some acknowledgement, just a "We know DRK's are in a rough spot we are working on it guys" but it's generally just a who cares people will just suffer with it let's focus on other stuff.

I'm out. I'm not going to wait 3-6 months to only get disappointed again in the end. It's always been this way.

Time to get off Mr. Bones' Wild Ride.

here I'll give you the perfect blood weapon

its a 5 stack system recovering 600 mp per gcd. (1min cd)

At lv 68 it gets upgraded into:
Delirium giving you 3 stacks of free bloodspiller or quietus recovering 1000mp per gcd (1min cd)

basically after 68 they're the same button

I wasn't expecting anything anyway, but that doesn't stop me being a little disappointed.
DRKs problems aren't solved with potency changes after all, and considering they've been trying to get new servers up and running, I'm not surprised they haven't done anything mechanical.

Would have been nice for a healing received buff on walking dead, though.

Blood Weapon is one of the coolest animations DRK has.

It doesn't even need to be anything that fancy. Live Letters are essentially Steve Jobs-esque keynotes where Yoshi-p gives you the sales pitch on upcoming products. They're great for the big picture, but it's also forces him to hard carry the whole thing. They've got a community team and a Twitch channel that's gathered a fine layer of dust on it for several months. How difficult would it be for them to get a job designer and interpreter out for an interview with their community team to talk about the 'state of tanking' or the 'state of healing'? Likewise, if they want to be able to filter their questions, what would prevent them from doing an AMA on reddit on a similar theme?

Part of the reason why the information flow feels so slow is because it feels like Yoshi-p is the only one capable of addressing an audience unsupervised to talk about the game. And it's really difficult for one person to know everything about a game of this scale.

Not that it would come to a shock to anyone who frequents this thread but the devs could avoid a great deal of vitriol if they would communicate with us directly regarding the job. It wouldn’t come as a surprise to them when we dislike something they produced. I don’t think anyone here truly believes the devs play DRK so, in loo of that, being in constant communication is the only alternative that allows the devs to disarm the player base when a build is roundly panned - we would have to blame ourselves to a certain degree if our own ideas didn’t work out in that case.

This seems like it would be PR 101.

Devs: Please open up to us about where you think the state of play is for the DRK and you vision of the future for the job so we can have a conversation with you about it.

I think if they don't share they thoughs about DRK it's bcs they have none, it wouln't look good if they just openly recognice they didn't planned anything for the job and instead of do what the playerbase asked and fixed all the numerous complaints and design flaws we have been reported, some even from since HW, they just decide to ignore all the complains and just slap quick, cheap/worthless traits on worthless skills to fullfill the base requeriments of the expansion so they can dedicate design efforts on other jobs while they keep forcing the current version of the job on us bcs (instead of going back to HW we just preffer on "build" from SHB), in other words "we didn't want to spare resources on fix the job".

They aren't going to share anything with us and i doubt they will considering the job design team still consist in 3 members and 1 intern that have to keep balancing and pamper they favorite jobs so they aren't going to have time to spare on such things considering the amount of jobs they have to care off and obviously they fav ones always come first.

I had a feeling this is how it would go down. I don't think we'll get touched this expansion.

Saw the patch notes. We got nothing just as we all expected so the real question is do we expect anything in 6.1?
