Doesn't matter how long I stick around. People just generally hate me, I think. I main healer too, and pretty much only play WHM in content. Even if I save a run I don't get commendations typically. It's kind of sad.

I will bet all the gil in my retainer list that you show up as healer number 2 on someone's party list and people just pick healer number 1 as default.

Most of the time no one does anything special that makes them deserving of a comm, either I just don't give any or I just randomly give it.
Honestly I am more likely to not give it to someone than to give it, if someone is screwing up or behaving poorly then I keep that in mind and pick someone randomly from everyone else.

Yeah, if someone does something that I consider above and beyond I will throw them a commendation. If not, then it's random. If I don't like anyone, then no one gets one. lol I had a healer rescue me last night during the Engles boss in Copied Factory. Would I have been fine? Probably. It was a close shave though, and I knew that. I had my Reaper's Hell's Ingress ready go, and I was mid teleport when they grabbed me. Either way I appreciated their concern and tossed them a commendation at the end.

Play as a healer and spam guildhests. That's the fastest way to grind for the mount.

That's a lot of work. I know people do that to get mentor quick, but at this rate, I should have 200 commendations by the next expansion. :cool:

That's because you aren't using a macro that's all like "Don't forget to comm your healer UWU!"

I definitely have a Commendation Gambit going.

1st place goes to anyone who goes above and beyond.

If everyone did what was expected of them then Comm depends on what I am. If I'm healer it goes to tank, tank goes to healer, DPS goes to other DPS.

if the person I wanted to comm is unavailable then it goes to the person with the coolest name. Unimaginative names are grounds for disqualification.
