pretty much every 3 to 4 hours I get an Error: 90000. It is consistantly every 3 to 4 hours, every day I just get kicked from the game. I can log back on just fine (with the server upgrades) so its not that big of a deal, but it is a little irritating to be crafting and lose my mats :/

Name of ISP: Brighthouse Networks (they use roadrunner, tbone.rr.com)
Country: USA, Florida
Occurrance: Constantly since the servers were expanded
Tickets: Brighthouse would be happy to assist, but after 30 Traceroutes they assured me that the issue is with a service called congentco, and it's true, my MS skyrockets when I hit congentco.com, and it times out by the time it hops to FFXIV ip addresses. My results with tbone.rr.com hops are all 15-20 MS. It was recommended I try to escalate the issue with SE but, I doubt I can do that as there's no true CS path.
Was hoping last night's maintenance would do the trick but the hopes were misplaced. Everyone I -strongly- suggest you inundate SE support with tickets. I've done a lot of research, I even went out and bought a new Modem/Router thinking that would help and boy was I wrong.
Direct connect to a modem with 15 MS / 46 MBPS Down / 2.30 MBPS up and I get
Send 0-300 / Receive 0 to 5000 spikes at all times, either on PC or PS3.
I am being routed to congentco servers (I am a Brighthouse Networks customer), the problem starts when I hit congentco and the timeouts start when it hits SE's IP address for FFXIV.
This is not our ISP's or equipment!
Here is the reply I got back from Optimum Online on Long Island, New York

Hello, thanks for the email.
I have ran a couple of tests and I am showing that your modem is online, your signals are ideal, there is no loss of data to the modem and there are no outages in your area. I would recommend bypassing any 3rd party equipment such as a router/firewall/switch/hub you may have attached to the modem and connect your computer directly to the modem.. This will take any of those equipments out of the picture completely and give a better idea of what is causing the issue. Unfortunately this is beyond our scope of support here at Optimum. If the issue persist you will need to contact Sony support to further assist you with this issue.
Should you have any further questions or concerns, please reply to this email or use one of the many ways to contact us. We are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week for your convenience.
Thank you for choosing Optimum,
Omar

I play a new online game from Sony called Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. A common issue it seems with this game and many ISPs is that the ISP is treating this game like Peer to Peer software instead of a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game. Inside the game because the ISP is viewing it as a P2P the game will randomly freeze and become unplayable.
Is there a way to change this program in your system to register as a game instead of P2P so the throttling stops? Or is there some way I can do something on my end to bypass that?
Thanks,
Tj Harlow

Occurence: Always now. Been unplayable for the last week. Everything up until this point has been great, no lag, no connection errors. Comcast insists that this isn't their problem and that they do not throttle any signal being sent to their customers. Please help SE... I will ride this out until my free time expires but will be forced to unsubscribe if I can't play.

I called technical support for FFXIV and the guy who answered was very nice, but he acted as if Latency was TOTALLY unheard of on FFXIV, and he even tried to tell me I needed to upgrade my Nvidia 560 TI.
Please put real tickets in for this, SE is dropping the ball on us and sweeping this under a rug.

Time: Since a few days ago, i get lagspikes, I notice my sendings are so low when this happens, It happens everywhere, i can't even level up properly since I don't want to leave 3 ppl on dungeon alone being the tank and fukin up their time. I also got Bluescreens 2 times, when I got teleported to another location by another character of the party. Called my ISP and they're not treating the game as a p2p program at the lags just happens everywhere, the sound stop working and i can't even use the escape Menu.

Recently (only as of last week) I have been getting S0/R0 and everything pauses for 5-10 seconds every 30-60 seconds. Also, all of my VOIP clients quality degrades as well as other applications ONLY while I am logged into FFXIV:ARR

- When does the problem occur (always, only during specific times?): Bought the game today, couldn't download the files through the launcher. My modem kept resetting after several minutes, dropping my connection and forcing me to start over. I believe it's the effect of whatever anti-P2P measures they have in place. I was able to download the game after switching to a VPN connection and play it after switching back. I don't have any issues with heavy non P2P usage.
