Stuck on this bad boy as well.
Hard fight and unlike the other ones that came before, somewhat hard to figure out.
The mechanics even seem to bug for us at times.

Well, if a player with a red mark jumped into the conflagration, the mark would get cancelled - seems to be intended. But in some of our tries the player that jumped in didn't get killed even when the conflagration went off when we didn't manage to kill it in time.Quote:

And another: The conflagrated player actually has a debuff counting down until the conflagration will detonate. Sometimes it would just detonate even if the counter was still at ~5s. In cases where that happened we didn't change anything regarding our strategy / execution so that it might have just been a disregarded mechanic that caused a premature detonation.
Can't say that we have had those happen. Keep in mind, the debuff you see shows the maximum conflagration duration (the dot timer) -- NOT the current conflagration duration. How long it lasts is dependent on other factors.
Has anyone started a loot index for Bahamut's Coil? With new groups making their way in, it would be nice to keep track of what drops where.
