Best DPS class in the game?

You mana song is only on like 20% of the fight. You play the same way as I do. We probably meant the same thing :)

I see you still lack DRG buff which should increase your lead in DPS meter.
Also you have not been using requiem when you had spare mana thus lowering BLM dps in the raid.

I dunno if it is a gear disparity, but it doesn't seem even remotely close. I'm deciding between Dragoon and Black Mage right now and after watching that, it's hard for me to justify playing Dragoon, regardless of how cool they look.

he/she also dos not understand slow large numbers are not always better then faster small ones... Bards do not have big crits but they have some of the best DPS

if your post was directed at mine, im not knocking anyone's skill/dps. avid seems to be one of the top groups right now, but ive seen atleast 6 on here compare how well their class does to their group of friends. can you not agree its easier to iron things out if person A does 15 and person B does 14 rather than person A beats all his friends and person B beats all his friends?

I've been in hardcore guilds before, top 3 in the world in rift and top 50 in "that other game" and in neither situation would i write off someone else having a possibility of having a player better than one of ours. just because we were high ranked doesnt mean our mage plays his mage 110% perfectly best in the world the way mage is meant to be and all should follow him blindly.

Comparing apple and oranges, also I don't want to say the Dragoon player is bad but I watched 3 min of that video and he never put up the Heavy Thrust buff which is +10% dmg for 20 sec while he was attacking from the side anyway. Maybe he forgot but that is pretty huge, all his other debuff/dots were on point.

I really hope Summoners don't get kicked to the curb for progression given it's the class I leveled and currently bought 2 darklight pieces for =/. I mean, I have the option of scholar but I'd have to start over...

Well we all know black mage is one of the lowest dps classes in the game! Heck summoner does more damage than the black mage!
