wrong, FFXIII-2 you could jump when ever you wanted to, and it wont be meaningless in FFXIV it just wont be used to dodge abilities in battle, I want it for terrain navigation I think it is a safe bet that pro-jumpers want it for the same reason. I dont care if they add a filter but I think if they do you folks will just bitch about people sliding up and down things.

Yes because filtering the animation is no big deal. The dev teams really has nothing better to do than to work on meaningless features for a minority of close minded people.

Jump as implyoing hitting a button and jumping when you want, not run up to a point and wait for the X to allow you top jump.

I'm sorry..what was that about them having nothing better to do than work on meaningless features? People weren't complaining about helmets or their weapons always being out yet they incorporated said toggles for the people who wanted it. >.>

well actually they did complain about helm, and the mh was for the swimsuits.

Edit: for the record I'm not against a toggle but I dont think that will stop anti-jumpers from complaining.
