MNK still feels barren probably more so with the absence of positional. Blitz system isn’t …i don’t wanna say bad but doesn’t feel rewarding or fun to use.
It changed PB into SAMs Meikyo Shisui almost word for word. Which is always a bad thing due to job homogenization. Works for SAM because the attack is satisfying and the attacks themselves require Positionals to generate kenki to weave into it. Doesn’t work for MNK because that’s all you do and most of the time end up doing the same rotation you’d be doing normally. If you use PB and have twin and demo and ledan fist on you literally just be doing 1-2-3 normally. And MNK only Gcd is incredibly random it works with the chaos of dragon+boot from SHB but just comes off as arbitrary does get better with a trait tho.Also hate that none of the buffs align, Wind is 90s Fire is 60s and Brotherhood is 120s which comes off as awkward and abit ridiculous it has 3 damage buffs like this.
I haven’t fully digested MNK but do it’s it’s utter lack of evolutionary skills (pretty sure a big chunk of 50+ is just baseless upgrades or buffs which is a running trend for reworks for whatever reason) pretty sure the only thing I’m missing is the Chakra generator trait, but I’m not too happy about the changes and this awkward as hell system. The job is way less fierce and more generic.
