Omega is a boss and is a content! Which brings me back to my point! BLU is not a full solo content if you can't do the main thing it's supposed to do solo and gathering spells is one of these things. Thank you for proving that. It's so easy to get you to admit things.

I never said that Bluemage was Fully Solo Content. You love to put words in my mouth.
I said that is IS Solo Content, but they expanded on it to give it more to do. If you wanna do group Content and these Additional things, thats on you. Otherwise, you can do most of it on your own Solo. Including getting Spells.

Posts vary. Some hate the anime aesthetic which is just preference. Others find little challenge in the casual side; remarking that the most difficult things here are barely comparable to their heroic content. For the better part citing endgame rotations as the weak point. FFXIV has casual appeal and a specific aesthetic. So nothing that untoward or inaccurate minus the usual hyperbole. My primary annoyance is that the drivel IQ that floats here from that game, tends to be those looking for a zero effort cruise. Dumbing it down due to majority share of the money - into following wow down the braindead road. In reality its past identity was more inclusive than its now favoritism of the mentally handicapped. Those that pursue the higher curve in both titles, I take less issue with. They however, are few and far between. Those enjoying meaningful achievement and challenge all too few.

Eh, we gotta think and remember that the Raiding scene alone is pretty small and it wont maintain a whole game for long.
Even Fighting Games know that you will never see growth or Longevity in your Product without the Casuals. So even though it may just be a Money move, that move also maintains a Product and gives it more content. Even if that content gets more geared towards the Casuals to keep them around, I dont think Hardcore stuff is ever forgotten.

Yes but it's exactly that, which the agenda of dumbing everything down hides behind. That's my overall gripe. Nobody is trying to exclude those who want to have fun at the end of the day without arduous extra effort (be it their opinion or otherwise).

What needs to stop is everyone making the assumption that casual is equivalent to some sort of special needs specimen who can barely switch on their own pc without watching a youtube guide. And the sad thing is - many of these people act that way for handouts and laugh as the game literally is reduced to falling asleep at the keys for anyone with a IQ above 1.

People need to become familiar with the idea that hyperbole works both ways. You can have someone exaggerate about difficulty because even Dark Souls is 'too easy' for even the early content. Then you have those who make the claim that bloat is more than 5 buttons and DPS should be basically one ability. That is nauseating. Just like SCH is now.

What would be nice is some actual common ground. Some appreciation for all those in the healer thread right now. Who are sad, because the classes they love have been turned into something that could barely entertain a 5 year old - let alone they that have been playing healers since mmo's began.

Its all too convenient for people to exclude people they don't agree with. As such veterans have been confined to a corner of exaggeration themselves. By people barely intelligent enough to tank Sastasha with a 100 man army behind them. A line has to be drawn somewhere and if nobody else will say it, I might as well.

Change is inevitable. That is not being argued. Also that many are casual. Yet even the most casual person can see the worth in progressive challenge and how it brings value. That should not be so limited that those looking for it have 1% of a game to look forward to. As it isn't just and it isn't fair.

Providing people bare that in mind - and have some sympathy for those who feel differently and hate the constant erasure of effort; all good. If the developers and players do not understand that triviality ultimately destroys worth or meaning. Then there isn't much point is there.

Many things are fine here. Tank homogeny and Healer DPS kit is not amongst them. What that is right now - is pathetic. And it would be nice if refugees don't parrot that differently, just because they haven't experienced the past. There is no reason things should amount to so 'casual'; they can be completed without even remotely bothering. And I'll leave it there. The point is clear enough. Content for all. Not just people too lazy to bother.

I never said you said BLU is fully solo. you need to learn how to read what others say. And this is the problem when you don't know what you're talking about. When BLU was first announced. It was said it will be a solo content. Not a group content. And what were the things that BLU was supposed to do fully solo?? Leveling, getting spells and the carnival. But now you need a group to do one those said solo content, which is getting spells. And even with all the things they added to BLU, you still can't get all the spells solo rofl! So learn what you're talking about before you spread nonsense.

And yet, last I checked, more people have cleared Ultimate than have capped BLU or gotten the majority of Majhong achievements, while there is a greater portion of players who have cleared at least one Savage tier than have gotten past, say, floor 60 in PotD, gotten the majority of Diadem achievements, have bred a chocobo in CR, etc., etc., or even gotten BLU past level 15, or gotten at least two Aquapolis achievements.

For all we might call it out as not representative of the whole game or the playerbase's interests, the raid scene is still far more the bread and butter of even this MMO than any of the alternate expenditures of that development time outside of, perhaps, the cost-minimizing or solely reused content of relic grinds (post and pre-StB, respectively).

So about mythic dungeons and raid, I do like a challenge matter fact, the harder it gets, the better, but I also hope that if it is implemented in FF14, then I will pray to God it doesn't turn out to be something only top tear FC's will be able to do but something I will be able to sit in duty finder for 10-15min and has a group going that will at least tries to do this not like in WoW where only the top raiding guilds do these dungeons/raids and if you wish to have even a sliver of a chance to join you have to have the right gear the right profession and be in the right guild so +1 from me on this idea and -a million for this to become only tope raiding FC content

FF14 is doing great because it's NOT LIKE WOW. If FF14 were to become like WoW then I would stop playing. There is a reason I and piles of others have left that game.
