Lol you serious, you want action combat in ffxiv?
I agree with the other poster, this game will never get that sort of combat.

I like the combat, I only hope they get a few targeting issues out of the way, which I am sure they will :)

I like the combat too (playing tera too atm, but i prefer classic BS) .. btw it need to be really more dynamic and fluid... Atm it feels so mechanic and heavy... If he reach the latency / speed of SW:ToR - WoW .. I'll be very happy :D

Subjective. Feel free to sub to Tera/Blade &Soul/PSO2 if you want that type of battle system.

I hope there are some interesting adjustments for lalafell builds. I demand my cookie/cake loving friend make his character more pudgey to fit his short, jolly tubby man character. (You know who you are.)

I cannot wait. I saw the E3 video of the new engine they will be using. It makes FF14 look like 7 by comparison. It takes this game up to Advent Children's level. Cannot wait for the new site and new trailers to pop.
I may need to buy a second graphics card for this.... only score an 8k on the current benchmark. I'm going to have to see what the new one looks like when they retool it.

They're using a small part of it actually. I remember reading that they're using a small part of it for the lighting and shadow effects. But not to the effect that DemonForest is making it sound. =P

I thought they said they were going with the Luminus engine? *sigh* I have been wrong before but I thought that was what they said.
