Trust me, this community makes sense. I understand where even the people I disagree with are coming from. In fact I make even more of a point of trying to understand that.

What are you recouping? Think of the house plot as bound to you like any gear, you can resell bound gear.
Edit: Just re-read and realized that I mis-read. My bad on that.
You're talking about the house deed here and not the plot right? Because right now we can't sell the plot. Or did you mean "can't"?

This is what I see it as paying 100k fir someone to covert their items fir materia then sell you said materia to you fir 90k
So just like the immediate 80% back? I see it like selling the land back to the server.

Buy a house if you gonna use it, there is no real need to sell it to bring Gil over if you just gonna flood the market with useless crap.
Okay. Not sure what this has to do with what I'm saying.

I'm not even upset at the housing, it just stupid how this community thinks, a lot of greed and selfishness over virtual good. Let a. Gil sink be a Gil sink, rent pump too much Gil into the economy. Let us remove large chunks if it.
You're lumping people and blaming the community for what is a bad design. You're a consumer. If the company does something that is ill designed and doesn't work right, you can say so. You should say so. It doesn't diminsh my love for this game one bit to acknowledge that it could do with changes.
One of those things that needs fixing is how they communicate with users. Wouldn't you rather they put this policy out in the forums or on the lodestone?

Also nothing is preventing people from suggesting the relinquish plot bad u get 80% back, but again let a Gil sink actually be one.
They only doing the 80% back as courtesy, for those who lost houses due to 45 day reclaim.
When they should have made it de rigueur. It means that house is off market for 45 days too many. Gil sinks are fine, but design them well.

This community just ahhhhhhhh.
Actually, it's pretty good. I'm okay with disagreements. We all have different goals for this game and features to add, etc.

People have been selling houses for over a year now with no problem but all of a sudden people are getting warnings for it. Do you honestly see no problem at all with that?
There also needs to be middle ground. If people get warnings for selling houses in PF then people should also get warnings trying to buy in PF as well.
Amen to this. If you're going to punish, and punish harshly, a bit of warning would be appropriate.

In fact no new rule was actually added, its being cited as disruption of game play which is already a rule.
You just said "any game company" and then cited SE again. While you get inconsistent in game enforcement everywhere, there are mechanisms at other companies to get clarification and appeal. This one doesn't have that.

And I have no issue with plot buyers also getting warned. Plot reselling SHOULD NOT HSVE BEEN A THING AT ALL.
I agree. You know when this should have been answered? Right when they launched personal housing. This was happening on high pop servers when it was just free companies buying. We aren't looking at a problem of not having 20/20 foresight, we're looking at a problem of them having 40/40 hindsight.
