Questions and Feedback on the Future of FINAL FANTASY XIV

How about this??? How about those of us that want to pay can pay/donate. Those that want to play for free until 2.0 or atleast 1.21 they can as well. Would that satisfy everyone? Would anyone feel guilty playing for free while knowing there are those that are actually paying? I'm just curious because the answer you would give, whether you post it or not, will reveal the real reason you are still around. Something to think about.

1. Will there be changes to crafting classes in 2.0? If so, please tell us what changes, and how it will affect our current classes, with levels etc, when transfering to the new game.

I have to wonder why you don't just play WoW. I don't mean that as an insult, I'm literally curious. What aspect of this game made you want to try this game instead of it.

From what I understood, they're giving the new game to us. They're redistributing it via a download.

I'm fine with subscriptions but really devs, we need this loot drop thing redone, its retarded as is.

My question is for the players that bought the Collectors Edition of the game. I understand we have had ton of free game time but so did the people who bought the normal edition of the game. One of the selling points for the CE was the 30 days free game time.

So my question is that since you never charged for game time at all and the people who bought the normal game had the same amount of free time as the people who bought the Collectors Edition, will the people who bought th Collectors Edition still get their free 30 days game time?

Question 1: With the radical changing coming to Eorzea through FFXIV 2.0, what will become of the storyline thus far? Will the entire storyline current players have experienced be rewritten or will only the "Eorzea Transformation" part be removed for players new to XIV 2.0? Or will the entire storyline be scrapped and rewritten in the new context of the game?

Question 2: The concept art for the new zones look absolutely amazing! Will the actual cities be redesigned in any way?

I thought the benefit wasn't 30 days of free game time, but a few weeks of pre-launch game time. iirc, everyone was supposed to get a free month, as with most MMOs.

Another question!

Will the players get an opportunity to submit NPC designs/backstories to the FFXIV developers?

I have so many ideas on how to really spice up the lore of XIV, I want to share them all!

Current storylines will stay as-is and be extended UNTIL 2.0. the storylines we have started and played in the last year will basically be the explanation of what is happening to the world, at which point the story will climax with the massive changes in 2.0 (meteor falling, 7th umbral era). After 2.0, the current story missions and all story content added before 2.0 will vanish forever.
