Hell, if you want to fantasize about your character that much, then 'make up' your own last name for it and keep it off my screen. 'damn sentimental clutter.

It has something to do with the game because these are the forums that go with the game.

This is why they are called the Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone Forums.

They're only on your screen because you looked in their direction. They were just standing around talking, you can't blame them for your camera control :P

But seriously you've gone off your own topic and now just seem to be angry. I apologise if I've antagonised you from the volume of posting I make, I just like to chat and socialise so I tend to be a bit of a chatterbox on forums.

Many have agreed that making an option whether or not to add a surname in the character creation would be nice and many hope S.E will consider this in future changes.

As such this thread does not appear to be able to offer any extra input to go into the debate so let's just let this thread die before it gets as bad as the 'immersion' threads.
