People demanded for it and this is what happened and guess YoshiP and them also knew this was probably going to happen so they didn't want to show, or at least work on it more so they can release more information before.

Lol totally read that wrong sorry, but yeah i hope they can refine in a way you can prioritize loots maybe before the fights even begin. So players can choose what looots they want before the entering instances, and doing NEED will prioritize people that alraedy PRIORITIZE it first.

So there will be /random and a system similar to Runestone which goes into the loot box, get xx of yy Item, and trade them for zz Item?

i don't know. imagine the QQing, if the first ppl knew of the new combat system was the day they installed the new patch, least this way we have time to let it sink in, and the change will not be such a shock to the system when we try it

It's why I do hope it's been modified a bit and not just slapped in since a lot of MMOs' NGP systems are done at the kill of the boss/clear of dungeon and it still can go to a random person.

Hopefully the producer letter being released soon will allay a lot of people's fears about the upcoming changes. I'm pretty excited for them personally, but people that have played casters up until now seem to be the most affected.
