The fact that we still have sex-segregated races in 2019 is ridiculous. Hopefully Square Enix takes actually opens up their eyes and gives us male viera and female hrothgar.

07-31-2019, 05:03 AMzeylosI think if theyre going to make the missing genders due to the performance fo the new expac + new races, in the hypothetical case that they were considered 2 different entites (viera race and hrotgar race as 2 different things) then I'm almost 100% sure male viera are coming, considering the popularity of the females, and that theyll do a good job at it to bring them in as soon as posible, but I worry about how polished would female hrotgar be, and if they would be willing to spend as many resources on her considering its a given sthat they wouldnt sell nearly as much as male viera going by what weve seen from this races (theres, I believe 5 times or so more fem vieras than male hrotgars), I just hope SE considers both of them as a pack, like, since the new races (mostly due to female viera) sold well, we are going to do a very good job on both, not just the money cow. I personally think fem hrotgar should have more resources so they can be finalized better, considering its much, much more complex to make a beast race than a male miqote with taller height and different heads, for whom theyll almost 100% not make a even slightly different body type so they dont have to refit any gear. I hope (or wish, more so) that fem hrotgar have a unique body, like an edited male roe to look like fem ronso, but honestly, the odds are that its a practically impossibility and theyll most likely slap male hrotgar heads with eyelashes and modified hairstyles and shapes to a fem roe body of which they have to modify 0 hear other than headgearQuote:

Whenever Iw ant something, I typically like to expect it, even if its just not gonna happen, and id rather be extremely excited then dissapointed than sad all along, personally. Logically, a race of lion men would probably be very muscular, male lions aren't small in real life. As for viera, they have always been represented as such, to my knowledge, I don't know what people were expecting? A female Roe? A fat amazon? It was heavily requested by fans, and SE added them, at this point it is just fan service. Also, for that matter, in real life tribal people actually wear very skimpy clothing (pelts), and the women don't even wear tops.
If viera wearing skimpy clothing is a bother, then don't wear it! Don't give me the immersion thing either, because I see more half naked miqo'te men and women than viera. I'm talking miqo'te male in a police hat, and skin tight leather underwear (with straps!) and no shirt. -
