@Maero I tend to agree. However, I don't really have anything to base my current dps on except for the fact that I can kill the a12s dummy. I don't have a "3rd party tool that shall not be named" but using the SSS calculator and my performance on the dummy my DPS came to be around 2420. This is significantly lower than the person I quoted despite being roughly the same ilvl. This bothers me and indicates that either he was using a potion, food, or both while I was not.
If you would care to provide your own baseline, without food or pots, for me to cross reference with, I would gladly utilize that! I am i270 with a 275 relic now, but haven't tested my dps in a long time.

Any help/advice or other blms DPS numbers is appreicated!

I honestly wish i could help you by providing a baseline, however i have not been parsed for sometime and play on a PS4 Pro :(
Would absolutely love to have some parsing tool available.
Hopefully he gets back to you if he used food or not.

All i could suggest is check out Ariyala gear calculator and you could decide what food would be best based on your gear.
For potions i use HQ Draconian Potions of Intelligence

I know the Flaugnarde HQ is the best, but it's like 20k a pop and only comes in stacks of 5 on my server. Not really willing to drop 100k on a theory lol. But thanks for the feedback!

Additionally, I too hope that they give us a parsing too. I don't think we'll get one anytime soon, but we can hope!

I'm not sure how useful this is going to be for setting up a baseline but...

on dummy parses I am able to score DPS from anywhere between 2500 and 2700. If Crits are being a bit** its more towards 2500 and if they are generous it's, as you might guess, more towards 2700 and even slighty above. No Food, no Pot, no anything and 4:30 Minutes length.

Still need to upgrade Bracelet and Ring but got other priorities right now.
Keep in mind tho, this build is lacking in accuracy because I have no intention to ever do stuff actually requiring it.

Your gear is pretty similar to mine with the exception of a few pieces, so I may have to run a few tests in the morning to see how close I am to you. Thanks!

With such low acc i find it hard to think you are not missing attacks, i know for a fact that some EX Primals when i had around 550 acc some attacks would miss.
Around 600 you should be good for all current content

UHH BLM ACC cap is 592. Also, please remember that with a good amount of our damage coming from procs, BLM parses on dummies can be a bit off due to one person either getting more crits or getting more procs in a row. Though this assumes that you're using the exact same opener etc.

Also, to my knowledge, this is current BiS - http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/ZDV5 for the person who asked earlier. With the proto ultima earrings over the shire ones. Use of pie melds is optional and costs approx. 7 stat weight points. But from the BLM discord - RE: stat weights

That is why i said around 600 for acc and a person will be good for all content ;)
Lower 500's i can guarantee a person would miss attacks, i remember missing Ice 3s even, it was horrible and made me mad :>

As for crit and spell speed, yes i agree what is in Quotation, stack spell speed.
It is of course good to have high crit but it so unpredictable, Spell Speed is guaranteed.
Also getting ahead here but very curious how stat weights will be in Stormblood, as in 2.0x Determination actually had more value then in HW.

Well thats kind of because Crit gear only really pays off if you're AoEing.

Think of it this way...

On a single target you may cast perhaps 10 or so spells...

But on an AoE... you're casting maybe 6 spells... but hitting a good 5 targets with it.

So when doing a lot of single target you're only getting 10 chances to crit.... whereas AoE you're hitting 5 targets 6 times for a whopping 30 chances to crit.

So the Crit gear pays off the more targets you have or the more casts you have. Single target it may not show much.
