They’re probably just surprised the developers put a death wall in normal mode. Usually only Savage/Ultimate have death walls.

To be fair to that BLM, I'd have tested Manaward against that wall. I assume thats what they were doing too.

This is perhaps the most silly thing i've ever seen
what kinda logic makes someone NOT want free damage?

First run of Eden 1 I managed to run into that death wall. Only took the one time for me to learn at least.

Eden 3 though, managed to Dragoon myself and Plunge myself into the great oblivion that is a giant hole in the ground. After somehow not doing that on the previous run on the same mechanic while using it.

I have a feeling Eden 2 though will be the hardest to DF, if only because some people WILL run away with the stack marker. At least its not the usual version of people running away with it though.

I still don't get why people run away with the stack marker. Only time I eve move with that thing is if I wanna position myself a bit more conveniently for the melee dps.

While in other cases yes I wonder as well (mechanics over DPS people, you can't DPS while dead), in this case the time delay can make things tricky if you for whatever reason think you have the other one or think the AoE time delay'd ones will go off first. But some people seem to not learn and thus the boss knows to give it to them every time.
