Still at work for another 30 minutes. I was looking forward to coming home and playing FFXIV, but it sounds to me like everyone is still having the same issues with the worlds being full. Oh well. Luckily, I'm a patient person :)
Still getting world full errors.
3 days of early access denial... I got to play for about 1-2 buggy hours where I was constantly disconnected.

This error has caused me to leave the game. I'm sorry I'm 100% understanding of full servers, that's expected during a launch... However that's what QUEUES are for. This "welp try your luck later" bullshit is unacceptable. So sorry that you pissed away your 2nd chance. This is completely crap.

all server is full and i dont have a lot of time for playing is realy pathetique too paye monthly fee and not be able too play because server is full , sure i got a very bad taste too paye for this ,that is really a lack of respect for customer big and rich companies like se miss server :(
i know its frustrating but i figure, rather they sort it out now instead of later. i can handle a few days of this since it is the launch of the new game and it was expected to be crazy. but its a good sign really, shows people still want to play this game and from the time i have had so far to play,i really like it.
i myself am a software engineer working with web applications so i am well versed in how things like this can play out, just simply adding servers or upgrading hardware is easier said than done and can take time and not exactly easy when the servers are in use.
so i say give them the time needed to sort things out, this was expected to happen, not like it was avoidable, new mmo launches are known to have their problems.

This is ridiculous. What kind of IT company cant fix a problem that thousands of people are getting and has an exact error message, and an error code. Pathetic.
These pages are filling faster than I can read them. Obviously something is not right with that. I got kicked out and now am getting the 1017 loop for the past couple hours. I got into a queue once with 44 in it, then got booted out with 1017 again. UGH!!!

In my opinion I think we should all send tickets, emails, and other messages through whatever way we can (noticeably) to tell Square-Enix to stop discriminating. I looked on the technical support forum in the Japanese forums and under the sections with multiple threads almost every single thread has a reply from a moderator (sometimes two even within only an hour of eachother). All other forums (English, French, and German) are severely neglected. This is obvious discrimination from this international company providing customers with differing qualities of service relating to their location or "affiliation." I cannot stand for this and I will be letting them know my thoughts.
Getting 1017 since i got off work....totally unacceptable behavior from a company claiming they want to win back disappointed customers.
What's happening here is they're going off predictions of how many people will be playing in the long term (as in more than a couple of months), and bought just enough hardware to support that. That way, they minimize their costs on supporting the massive launch load, compared to 6 months to a year down the line when they're just milking the loyals with monthly fees. Why waste money on machines that they won't need soon?
Just a heads up I will be logging in now every morning at 4am and leaving my character logged in all day so I can actually play after work in the evening.

I like to consider myself a patient person too, but just because I'm patient doesn't mean I'll appreciate being treated like a moron.
And in keeping things to such strict minimums, they end up pushing away people who could potentially become 'loyals.'
Sure, they might not need machines soon, but part of that might just be because of their own doing, not the consumer base.
The ONLY thing we want to know at this point Yoshi is will the login restraints remain? If so, then how long or is it indefinite? If not, then when will they be corrected? The answer that you people have come up with to restrict login's is just beyond ridiculous at this point. Obviously the servers are not large enough to handle the number of players YOU allowed to be created on them. What do ya think is going to happen at Launch time? We players will only be able to log in rarely. We need concrete answers, no answer from the dev team just makes us players that have stuck it out thru all be beta phases and early access feel unimportant, frustrated and duped. Your timely response would be appreciated. Of course as I attempt to log in once again....1017
bump still getting this. tried to log in just now on Malboro 1017'd I could see people starting to cancel their orders if this continues.
im so sick of this shit, hell the only reason i had to log out was a ui glitch after zoneing and my spot wasent held on the server for 20 damn seconds. i have been 1017ed for the past 4 hours that includes getting into q's of 5 people only to get 1017ed again multiple damn times.
i finely got to play a little yesterday and it was awesome i like the game a lot but this logging prob makes me feel like what was the point of preordering the game :(
This is indeed highly annoying, they need an afk timer to kick people, about an hour and to just do something so people can play this damn game, I'm tired of having to just bang my head at the door and not even get a que.
I can say this much, I'm a new player, a friend convinced me to give this a go so I bit. I work during the day, want to play when I get home, only to be told....endlessly that the f-ing world is full. I'll give this a couple more days, after that, I'll write this off as a $30 loss. I know in a month it will be fine, but I bought it to play it now, not later.
If you look at the JP servers, they've got the same amount as TWO continents... let me repeat that, TWO CONTINENTS, and no doubt a much smaller population to fill said servers.
It's also extremely clear that they're quick to help and deal with problems on the Japanese side of things but we're essentially in the dark with virtually zero assistance or communication.
This is why Korean/Japanese games are suffering outside of their country of origins. People are sick of the double-standards.
Apparently if you want to play tomorrow make sure you wake up right before the maintenance then go AFK all day while your at work so you can annoy 1000's of other people that actually want to play and when you get home you'll be good to go... I bet at least a 1/4 of the players on right now selfishly AFK. IMMRITE?
