I like the Ishgard flag on the wall! I know Ishgard won't be in from day one, but it's definitely the place I want to visit most right now!

Good question! I kind of think so. And if I had to guess, I'd say that Project Manager M is in the front row on the far right (from our point of view). Not that I would know, but that's my guess.
I'm pretty sure that the second person from the left in the front row is Saori Hill, a community manager who speaks several languages. Smart cookie!
Another blog post up!
aaaAAAND Done!

I was all satiated after hearing the Beta start date announced and invites started going out. Then Puranbi reminded me of the 'veritable flood' of info coming our way this week.. Dammit...must...focus..
Now...when does the media embargo end? Is it today or tomorrow or Thursday after the live letter.
Greetings!
The Community Team is back from the San Francisco leg of the FFXIV Media Tour! With the Letter from the Producer LIVE and the A Realm Reborn beta test just around the corner; we hurried back to work here at the North American Square Enix office.
We know a lot of you are anxious to see more of the event so we wanted to take a moment and give you a quick tour of the... well, tour!

Things were pretty hectic when Yoshi-P arrived, boxes were flying everywhere, cables strewn about, and we even had to play limbo with the trees being carried around. It was hard to believe we could turn this cyber forest into an actual one. Needless to say, it was a nail biter as we watched everything being set up.

However, piece by piece and panel by panel, a familiar forest setting slowly started to form.

Yoshi-P runs the final checks to make sure everything is working in order.

Bam! Just like that the Gridanian meeting room is complete! Isn't it pretty!?

Here's what it feels like to be a part of Yoshi-P's introductory meeting. What's on the screen? We're sorry but you're going to have to wait just a bit longer to find out. ;)
...and just like that the Media Tour was over. Time really flies when you're having fun! We're looking forward to reading over all the coverage and sharing more with you soon.

-See you in Eorzea!
To all the NA team - Otsukaresama~
Now leak some info!! j/k
Thanks for the pics Okipuit!
I missed you guys! ^^ Big thanks to Rukiriri for keeping us so informed on twitter!<3
Awesome set up :D - cant wait till you release the "flood" on us :D
Can't wait to see the information released. I'm assuming we will probably see the articles and stuff appear in the next couple of days at the latest eh?
That set up is really top notch, I did feel from the pictures that the EU one didn't quite have the same warm feel to it, but without having been to them I can't really say. I assume everything had to be disassembled afterwards? That must be a pretty dissapointing task to be handed.
I'm kind of bummed that I'm working on Friday at the time of the Producers Live Letter, I don't understand a word of Japanese, but it is the excitement of being part of this whole thing - it leads me to not be very productive at work. May ask for the early afternoon off to enjoy it as my mind wont be on work anyway!

Someone R3 Yoshi!
If Famitsu has coverage we'll find out in a couple of hours when the usual furage guys post up. I'll check my local store, too.
I'll throw an R3 on him, but before I do, I'm gonna "loot" those rings!
Yoshida did say he wanted to try to capture the NA audience mainly, especially since they're the ones more ingrained into MMOs like WoW and GW2.
As long as the folks who came to the EU one didn't follow the pictures and stuff being posted too closely hehe - I doubt they would, as they are not as rabid as us on the forums. Be like getting Disneyland Paris compared to the one in Orlando! I kid, I kid - don't hurt me!
I think it was their own offices in London eh, so I guess that it normally would be a pure work environment - rather than, as you say, a venue rented out for the specific purpose - we spruce our office up from time to time for visitors, but you can still tell it is a work space in day to day life. Still, they put the effort in, and the main thing is that Yoshi-P was there (and the software). Such a shame that it was temporary though, must have been a nice environment to game in, however briefly.
Funnily enough, he mentioned the sun eh? Well, I live in Scotland, and the past two days have been the only ones in absolute months that haven't been rain, snow, or a mixture of the two - that or gale force winds. Please Yoshi-P, don't leave the UK, we need you! Either that or all the interesting news has pulled me from under the dark clouds of depression, but I think it honestly has been miserable weather :3
Phew I'm so glad this forum has returned to some sort of normalcy... although it has a bit slower...
And Yoshida just remember to always wear the beret! It is the explorer's failsafe... ^^
forget raise 3, cast arise. that's two more minutes he could be doing something to save the world!
Is it just me that thinks Yoshi-P looks like a KO'ed tarutaru?

That image of him on the ground... I can imagine Lalafell's jumping on his back and every time they step on YoshiP instead of the classic '1UP' we keep on seeing Level Down...
Can't find gif image of lalafell jumping to make gif... /sad
Yaaay! You guys are awesome! It's so great to have you back! Have a nice cold Hi-Elixir!
(This totally has nothing to do with the MH contest in the XI forums.)
