I'm gonna stoke the fires on this one for some people, but I honestly hope they don't add that many Garlean armor sets.

Not because I'm against the people who ask for it. Though, it does make me wonder if they're okay.
But because it can get very, very weird and borderline dangerous if they do.

Like, idk if I'm alone in this, but whenever people say "I really want the Garlean armours available for players", it makes me think of the people who think wearing Confederacy symbols or uh... "Early 20th Century German Military"* outfits and symbols is cool.

Edit: To reiterate. Even if it makes me wonder if those people are okay, this is 100% my reading of it and my own personal discomfort. If you guys want Garlean armours, I fail to see why not simply add to the game. It's not like the game hasn't had stuff that was worse than fictional fascists.

No, but you don't see people flaunting the Emperor and the symbols like they're anything cool, now do you? Especially considering how, yes, according to George Lucas MULTIPLE TIMES, the Empire IS meant to evoke Early 20th Century Germany.

Also, you're being obtuse here. I literally just said that though it was weird for me personally, that the addition itself and the people asking for it aren't necessarily at fault and that there's worse in the game.

Or some people just think the designs are cool. Some dress uniforms are really snazzy and it's not like you have to wear all the symbolism and paraphernalia tied to them. People need to take the stick out of their behinds for things like that. Just because you find certain looks appealing doesn't mean you're all in with the Third Reich.
