I dunno. I think the food is solid and the service is quite a lot better than the average (think about how major patches are almost entirely free of major bugs), it's more like... while they have a pretty decent-sized selection, they don't have a lot of any one thing in particular. Like, you can get a burger or a pizza or a quesadilla or a plate of spaghetti, but if you want more than the most basic kind of dishes of whatever types of cuisine they serve, you're probably going to find the selection lacking?

It's a bit like that famous Skyrim review quote - wide as an ocean and as deep as a puddle. Rather than focus on a handful of things and really try to excel, Square-Enix has chosen to do a great many little things, but do most of them adequately at best.

It's just not all that fun as people hoped it would be when they first started.

I'd like to be happy. I just want a good MMO to invest in.

But content this expansion just isn't cutting it for me personally. Criterion was a miss for me, I wanted dungeons to chill with friends but we got more Savage prog and solo duties and still have no real dungeons. Island Sanctuary was a miss for me, it's long since done and over. Tribe quests were a miss, they're just 5 minutes a day. Crafting has been a miss, it's bot infested and Water Otter parts barely sell. Job design has been a miss and I just don't enjoy them.

The raids are good entertainment and I can see why newer players love the game, there's buckets of quests, story and side things to do. But as a long term player, the expansion just hasn't been that great.

Real life or game?

Personally.., it's good have my moments of fun.<kinda wish I could see the larger chunk of friends who went to EU region cause other friends exist there.., Hence why I'm stuck in NA cause of my previous ISP being infamously terrible. I'd love region visit, and maybe knock on the door of a friend who hasn't said much in awhile and Catch up, or fully cut ties.>

People here enjoy some aspects of the game, and feel strongly about others.
[I personally feel strongly about content being run for its intended purpose. Previously it was the constant presence of abandoned sprouts in MSQ Roulette. Since that changed I no longer think of it. Now its hoping SE fixes/Solidifies/Counteracts gaming of the system In order to get easier content in Roulettes. it goes against the point of a roulette. Could go into detail, but not the place for it, since as many things it's very nuanced, and can be taken out of context by like minds, or opposing minds.]

things I may go back and forth with some are Shop Direction, Accountwide, Alts<Characters, not Roles/Jobs/Classes.>
