Of the Properties of Beastmen

People are thinking that the new "relic" weapons come from having this 25,000 seal item plus 3 of the new seals. This means having to spam Hamlet for a 1% drop rate vs. 7 other people 3 times per weapon. Getting this to happen even once should take about as long as it takes to get every single piece of Darklight from AV/CC. I do NOT want to spam red/red/red > blue/blue/blue potions on DoL 10,000,000,000 times to finish my weapons.

If this is the case, I would be okay with it if this was only the first step towards "relic" and the weapons are weaker than a Primal weapon. Maybe if the next step is 5 more primal seals and some kind of currency, then an Odin win and something else, it would make sense. I really hope the best weapons in the game aren't being given out based on luck and spamming one boring thing for months and years.

People would bitch if it was to easy people going to bitch if its to hard why not just accept it you get achievements for doing it alot just think of it as SE way of helping you get them all XD

I think its a great idea and I have never done a hamlet nor have thousands of seals to burn. Its like relics were in 11 something to set a goal and slowly work towards not slam head on till you get it.

Well it has been stated that they're putting ways of "obtaining and upgrading" job-specific weapons. So for all we know is we'll give the promissory note to Gerolt then he'll tell us we need to round up rate materials for him to make it. Si then off we go to some other content to gather that. And that's for the base item.

The rewards for Hamlet defense as well as the supply rating system as a whole seem rushed to me.

For stockpiling massive quantities of items your reward is Anima. No problem at all, I can always use Anima! Finishing a supply rating 2 battle which took a massive amount of 10M points, your reward is a constant 30 Anima. Thanks SE, but I was already full from the supply phase. Then our chests drop an amazing Dark Matter! WHOA!

Personally feel that they need to change to individual chests, rather than a group chest. I believe that would be more balanced. As well as offer more rewards from the chests. Perhaps change it too only one item reward ranging from the DM, the militia gear, fireworks, seal, Gil, and more.

Once a person gets a seal they're not going to want to participate anymore so they'll move onto the next hamlet. So unless you're doing this with a set static group your chances are zilch. The stockpiling phase isn't cheap (raptor skins over 10k now) and the rewards are just too spread out and low. May hold off until they adjust this a bit because i'm honestly not in the mood for more 10% DL drop rates x3,x8.

If this really is for AF weapons I most surely want them to be difficult to obtain but once again tedious repetition /=/ difficulty.

Still can't find that damn Ghost. :/

Actually I personally am guessing that that's not for the base item, but for the upgrade itself. The base item will be acquireable through a simple quest, I bet. Won't be as good as a primal weapon but better than a non-materia normal weapon. That'd make a lot of sense in the way the AF gear is put in the gear progression

It wouldn't make sense when looking at what is needed to obtain the item so far and will also contradict the little information we have on the weapons through interviews saying they were planning on them being powerful. Thus coming back to giving you a head ache to obtain.

The 25k seals is the easy part.
