Which caused quite a bit of problem as far as the gearing progression of weapons was concerned, espesically in consideration of the delayed relic quest and thordan.
Typically it's the journey of doing said raid and clearing content, not getting the gear drops being the primary motivator for most raiders.
That aside though, I do agree that the end game can be pretty lacking for veteran players. As frequent as the patches come out compared to say, WoW, there's very little lasting power compared to it; WoW gets new, entire questing zones and a daily hub, we get 2 dungeons and a side feature that usually gets forgotten or shafted from the developmental aspect. Even the raid department, 4 bosses is a very small amount for one raiding tier, and making them difficult to the point that you'd spend 2-3 weeks of progression to clear (versus 8-12 bosses that take about 3-5 days of progression), it's less variety too and adds onto the monotony.
