Yikes, this thread took a turn haha. anyway, im fine with the devs taking a vacation being the reason for the delay. There are plenty of games for the ps4/vita/3ds that will keep me busy til then.
then 3.1 keep me busy until persona 5
damn delays

1. Not every one bothers leveling more than 2,3 jobs.
2. Not every one bothers with crafting or gathering. (I for one find them boring.)
3. Hunts? (hysterically laughs) no hunts are one of the worse open world things they ever put into this game.
4. Yes they gave us new zones but they given us nothing to do in them at level 60 don't bother saying hunts just look at number 3 again.
5. Every one hates Bismarck. They took steps of fate which a lot of people do not like and still leave if they get it for daily's. And turns the thing into a Big dps check. Yes Ravana is interesting but with eso weapons no one farms him now.
6. They jumped 50 item levels once you get to 60 in gear.
I will add that one of the big reasons for lack of end game at 60 is because they raised the level cap to 60. If it had stayed at 50 we could have gotten more end game stuff after the Heavensward story. And we could have maybe even goten horizontal gear progression they could have gone a new way in getting stronger. But no new level cap and even higher item level gear.
I would concede that if it were not for the issue where semantics was a critical issue when it came to the discussions concerning housing. It's reasons such as these where I believe it's critically important that we pay attention to what is said concretely, and something that is not said concretely.
Much was clarified last night. Some of it completely new, and unexpected. There was not a hint of inference of having randomized loot (even to the point of randomized appearance) until last night. And there is still unanswered questions when it comes to participation. (Are FC trips restricted to ONLY FC or does a FC merely have to host it? Does a party or group need to consist of a preset 8 man group or full alliance or can the participation be jagged? Are the instances of these islands randomly assigned or can fellow friends/FC members join in as reinforcements?)
I can't guess as to your desires of what you specifially wanted to see out of the live letter, but it is apparent it was not met. My reaction to the matter, however, was somewhat different:

1. Your leveling process from 50-60 on your first character did not exist then?
2. The game is not designe to appeal to everyone the same way. Just because you ignore the content, does not quanitfy the exclusion of it. This is something to do, it does not appeal to you. You are, in part, responsible for your own boredom.
3. Hunts expand more than just the Zerg variety. Treasure Hunts could also be in the variety which do include the following.
4. This is different how from level 50? Open zones were mostly leveling and gathering grounds through the entirety of 2.0. Hunts, which you so much dislike, wasn't even planned content before the feedback of wanting more open world stuff to do at 50. That said, those who seek gear for glamours still, like at 50, have the ability to go hunting for specific FATEs or FATE chains that can provide them with unique gear. (Not unlike Treasure Hunts, in that regard.)
No where, in any of Heavensward's advertising, was there a promise of a complete and revamped endgame. In fact, Alexander was pretty much the only mention made to be coming in the 3.0x series. That does not disqualify the content released, which was, as promised, enough to fill a classic single player RPG. SE is not responsible for inflated expectation.
Are people really complaining about more horizontal gear? And more content for casuals so we can have the same iLV as the "oh mighty and great" savage raiders? My God...
