Ifrit Fight

I was never a fan of hard modes, they ruined the end game in wow for me (its not the same when you first need to kill/farm a boss on normal mode to get loot to fight a tad harder version of the very same boss again for better loot) I realy hope this "Hard Mode" style is nothing like that.
I'm a huge supporter of "one difficulty troughout" for MMOs, hard modes are just a cleavrly disguised time sink that takes away the feeling of accomplishment by downing a boss for the first time and just serve to make the end game so very repetetive.

Hopefully "normal mode" will be like the storyline solo missions, something everyone can for lore etc do but not much in the way of a fight(hell toss in parley part for the crafters I guess) , and then make the "hard mode" the difficult party based fight.

For the weapon art; I sort of like it, however I wish they didnt look so bloated, the glow effect is subtle enough for me, the weapons just look like they would'nt be practical to use.

Either way can't wait for the patch to come to see how it all turns out =)

have you ever played a final fantasy game? a square game? a japanese rpg, or hell even a japanese game? hmm have you ever played a game? they are not really about staying realistic. they are about having fun, doing crazy things and bad ass glowing weapons. chill out man if you dont wanna play or use materia or get an ifrit weapon then dont. we all understand you are unhappy with everything SE does but unless you are going to provide some good constructive criticism please just STOP

I'd assume thats the case as well, just the wording "Hard mode" gave off a bad wibe of what WoW raiding turned into lol.

Fairly sure ifrit is in the r36 cutscene, its been a while so I could be wrong.

These weapons look amazing. I'm also interested in what hard mode means. I hope if anything it is unlocked after you clear it the first time, but that could get tricky if you have players who haven't cleared it on normal. Anyway, I'm super excited about this fight. :)

I don't criticize everything I find imperfect. Sometimes I defend their decisions because I think that they are good. Assuming that I do not find anything satisfactory is insulting. But do realize that I am not one to participate in meaningless chatter. If something is good enough, it is good enough. I won't criticize it. That doesn't mean I need to come out and say that it is good either. That may be beneficial on a personal level, but criticism is much more important as far as improving the actual product goes, and I find that ultimately more important. If there is no criticism to be found, the end result is good and should be assumed to be as such.

Sure, but just like with the statement to make me go away there will be no argument to go with it. I explained my reasoning and I find it to be quite sensible. If you disagree, then the respectable thing to do would be to actually explain your reasoning as well. Why is what I say not sensible? Just coming out and saying it is not would be insulting, to be honest. Or just telling me to go away.
