Should we be limited to only one craft class?

I fail to see how this is bad that? IF you are not a master in GLD, you'll be a master in something else and be seeked when someone need a special craft from your mastery. You fail to understand that in a MMO you should rely on others at some point. Yes you need a goal, you can focus on your mastery while others focus on theirs and everyone gets a slice of the pie. You idea of an MMO is a single player game where you get the pie for yourself.

Read my previous post about stop the complaining and bring ideas if you want. No need to torture the rep into 200+ posts of complaining and recycled arguments.

This only happens in ffxiv forums because the fans are so stuck up in their lite world that they cant accept se is doing something wrong.in Any other game community if the complain was in fact biased people would had stopped posting on it 200 posts ago.But no they have to come and defend their game like it was the holy grial.

They are the ones to blame , not the people complaining for the long battle posts, or at the very least equally guilty.
You know if you think someone is trolling ignore it and dont respond.

You are mistaking solo play with versatile of choice.
if you could be 1 mastery at the time but could change once needed , that would be completely acceptable for me.
If need the so called "group crafting" you would still need people witha diferent mastery at that given time( if you are only talking bout being able to craft all parts of the procces then i think you are wrong, in ffxi people had crafts at max in mules for an extra fee so is the same thing but paying more real money to have an advantage.)Mastery means you are master of said discipline wich in every game but here apparently means you reached the maximum power available in said category.

Want ideas and solutions , there you have it.

I think only being able to level 1 crafting class to the eventual max is the best idea. It balances the crafting out much better.

Ok based on it being them limiting current systems for All DOH/L then as per the comments for DoW/M as well. (which i would doubt)
I'd actually not mind, but it would cause all hell of issue with grouping for combat..
- The "But your master X so we want you as that not Y" agruments would start and its already getting a bit need X set up!!! for dungeons at times.
- Then what about Jobs so you would get double the argument.?
- Then the FOTM group set ups leaving come classes hi and dry?
(ok to a point this could apply to DOH)

While I'm game for a change in direction that might be a loop'd'loop more then a change.
But if you take into consideration that crafting is not inherently a group orientated area with people on at the same time doing the same content, where as end game combat is for the most part.

And just to throw it in.. :rolleyes:
Thiers a difference atm anyway, thier is no group crafting contenat (at least atm) where you need XYZ crafters in a group of 8 to do.
So One could potentially Solo end game items atm with all DOH classes levelled.!! :eek:
A DoW/M cant, so its currently bias in your favour limiting it would balance it making you work as a group as the DoW/M do currently. :p

In most games crafting is a solo part of the mmos anyways.Asking for limiters for social/party aspects does not compute.

Doesn't mean that they can't introduce party craft where you need to be in a light or full (depending on the craft) to make X item. I for one would love to see that happening and saying that crafting in most games is a solo thing is probably the worst argument used so far. Who said FFXIV cannot implement something different? Again, this is a MMO, asking for social/party aspects for some stuff IS something that does compute.

im not gonna argue with you about single player as im rank 50 and have done all the endgame stuff and i have lots of LS's.

What i will say is being able to master each craft class DOES NOT mean 20 30 or 40% of the population will. So no matter how you put it PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS NEED PEOPLE. that does not compute in your mind. i see that now.

Also just because i can solo does not mean its best to solo. A MMO will always be social and FF MMOS was always the MOST social MMOS and that was NOT because of a crafting limit.
