The Solo disease?

Also how many times do I need to say "i do not mind solo'ers" till someone reads it lol. I just think op said theior topic rudely and are being rude to anyone who shares their side of the story. I infact never seen anyone hate solo'ers. Unless..... they are trying to group and only find solo'ers.
I'm all for options and different playstyle. Just not ones that effect the community.
When you play mmo it isn't "your game" it is THE GAME you are playing with over 1K players. If ppl hate solo'ers it is their decision to do so. If you think it is rude, then that is your issue. I find it rude that you would refuse to party if asked. And see it as pestering and that is my issue.

There will always be 2 sides of the story, with the truth mixed in the middle. I also find it funny everyone seems to be all for " let ppl play how they like" but when a melee rdm comes along, they are the bane of the game. Just wanted to point that out :)

Also why do you insist on attack myside of the story? Ypu said your side 20 times over I read your side 20 times over. I do not effin care wtf u do. And infact even ask why you made this topic as I never see anyone insult solo'ers. Proof is most ppl attacking me when I'm just sharing my insight on how what your posting looks like to me. Which I have a right to say.

You have been twisting what I said to work in your favor that I'm "against soloers" when I infact as said 12 times I do not mind solo'ers. I've only stated how your play style can effect others. Stop twisting that into your favor. There is a difference to what you said. Looking for members and finding solo'ers is different then looking for a tank and finding casters. Point being that casters are wanting to group and will get them if they want to join. The solo'er just refuses.

Because you follow it up with "unless they happen to be soloing when I want to form a party, and then they are just rude." Which pretty much negates your "I do not mind soloers" stance. Unless of course, we pretend that the reason we don't want to party with you is because "we are busy" (but damn us if we say "we are busy soloing"), so not telling you we are soloing, somehow magically makes it all better...which doesn't make any sense because in the grand scheme of things, you will still not have enough people to form your party (or have difficulty doing so).

Yes. If you mistakenly believe you have read that several times from me, please quote the posts directly. You will find out, if you read closely enough, that I will occasionally talk about the benefits of scaled content, and how great I think the levequest system is because of its scaling features, but I go no further than that.

No, I would wager a guess that the soloer is typically busy doing something else. Soloing. You may in some twisted way think that this is actually "doing nothing", but that is so far from the truth. So the soloer doesn't want to drop what they are doing, to participate in what you are doing, sounds perfectly legitimate to me.

Because though i disliked WoW and at times claim to hate it. I never hated the game it just was not my type of game. And cross server grouping (which will only be for dungeons) helps with the issues of not finding a party. :) It didn't make WoW more solo-able. >.> And the reason it was added was because of the soloers not joining parties.

takes up room..... You still attacking myside of the story though. And not realising how rude you do sound. There is infact a thing called being TOO HONEST when at times it better to not say the full story.
By saying " no i'm busy soloing" can be seen as a slap in the face.

TDJ there is infact a right and wrong way to refuse an invite. Your way as true as it might be, can sound rude, and make you out to be a snob. Much like the queen of england asking you if you want a cup of tea and it is a tea you hate. It would be considered an insult to say "no, because i hate that tea". It would be more polite to say " no thanks, but thank you for offering"

Being too honest can be an insult. Would you honestly tell a girl she looks fat (and she does (which is an inault) or would you tell she she is fine as is? And yes these are infact similar questions. :) And instances where being too honest can be seen as rude.
And I do not mind solo'er because I guy who i dated (who i still love) did infact play ffxi solo. I looked up to him for it. And though he PERFERED to solo. If asked he would join in groups. Which is the difference between you and him.

You coulda really have types your post better. Like not mentioning you refuse party invites because pof not wanting to play with others.

You asked for quotes not copy and paste. I copy and paste due to lack of room. But I do add quotations. I type on the ps3 and the quote code does infact take up room.

the issue with said comment are the ramification of people would do it solo and those who want to group will get told "why bother u can solo it"

I can also point out every rude/ comment that can be seen as rude by you if you want me to.

So by telling the truth, I am not properly conducting myself? Do you want to come over and just play the game for me?

I should also word my posts better? I just can't seem to do anything right can I? So I should try and write a topic explaining my position as a soloer, without really supplying all the details in fear that I might accidentally offend someone by the way I choose to play the game? How about you write up a guide of what we should and should not do on the game and forums and give it to SE see if they will include it into the EULA.

Post 13 says no such thing. You are radically misinterpreting you what you read. If you mean the line where I ask the question of why a game has to be designed for one or the other. You would have to twist that one a good deal to even remotely mean what you claim it to be.

TDJ Has been after reading all posts a 4th time has been infact playing the victem card to people who say their side of the story. Pretty much since the first post. Or making comments like Hopefully those who just cannot understand why someone would play solo (trust me, I feel the same way about groups), can take something from this to better understand a soloists reasons for playing an MMORPG.

These comments/ attacks can be seen as very rude. And yet don;t get why some soloist are infact not well liked?

Well when a soloist puffs his chest demanding respect or understanding but refuses to see the otherside, why should people respect him?
Why does he deserve to attack anyone of the opposing side? He is by far no victem here as I rarely if ever say any topic on here hating soloers.

Can you say "cry for attention" ? If you want ppl to understand your side do not attack them for trying to get you to understand their sude as well.
