I know when Raf SPINS AROUND, i never have to attack him from the front, only time thats happens in the whole fight is if I have honeyglazed and I attack the Hornet from the front.

Exactly.

You can be on it's flank and still avoid both devour and the cleave when it turns around. Imagine it's a 180-semi circle around Rafflesia. 0, being the left side of her, anything above 190 degrees is a safe spot. In other words, as long as you're in between the middle-section of Rafflesia and the rear, you will not get devoured or sucked by anything.

EDIT: Anyone on Turn 8, could they confirm rear misses at 490ish accuracy? If so, my speculated accuracy of around 520 doesn't seem to far off for Turn 9.

Just did some Turn 8 tonight with 480 accuracy, noticed very few misses over 3 hours of tries...

I'm at 99.6% over 3 hours of turn 8 with 483.

Was lucky enough to get the wave harpoon + mirror last night, also purchased the Weathered Astrum Hose.
BFB Full Thrust occasionally crits over 1400 now :) edit: 1441 highest so far.
