it has the potential to be useful if your having accuracy issues, but beyond that its vanity gear.

Current gear: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/M2FF (I still can't my Allagan Spear or Boots to drop...and I'm having a devil of a time PuGing Levi EX, so that spear is out for now)

Debating whether to buy the Weathered Hose. With my current gear I will have to switch the Allagan Visor for Wyrm's Armet and the Slaying Ring for Striking Ring to keep accuracy for T5 (gives 467). To get to 470+ for T6, I then need to switch the Maiming Bracelets for the Slaying Bracelets (478), or the belts (472; I just haven't bothered to buy the Hero's Belt yet...)

Now that I think about it, that's not a bad trade-off. And next week I can buy the Weathered Feet and switch things up more, going to this gear (assuming I can't get Twin to give me what I want) http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/M2FH

As someone posted a few pages back the only gear worth it crafted fully melded are feet/hands/belt/head because u can cap almost all secondary stats. The materia isnt good enough atm to make it worth bothering with fully melded legs/body because they may be a little upgrade now but wont last, also incur a higher vit loss

Would like to report a Full Thrust miss at 482 accuracy on turn 6. Life sucks when you miss a free crit.

u need 490 accuracy for t6 for 100% no miss

Yup. Though, once you know the animation patterns, exactly when Raffelsia is about to devour and cleave the tanks, the chances of striking from the front are extremely slim.

I run with 465 and i havent missed yet. So i dont know why you guys are running such high acc. 490? Craziness. You guys attacking from the front or something?
