No. It sounds like he's saying exactly what I am. The SUE events are filling in the blanks. Once the Grand Compant aspect is established they'll bring all the main scenario stuff up to speed. It's still all just a prologue to 2.0.

He never says after 2.0. Just like the localization team member I posted he says after the side story is established.

Negative. Finishing the side story means only explaining how the citizens of Eorzea band together to respond to the coming calamity.

After that they pick up where Futures Perfect left off and move the story forward to the calamity.

You have abolutely no way of knowing that and are just completely assuming. Its fine if that is your theory, but don't treat it as fact.

Looking at the structure of this sentence, it is relatively safe to say that when he says "Once it is finished" the it he is referring to is the "event they'll only be able to experience now."

So it is rather obvious that the "events they'll only be able to experience now" is all the content starting with 1.18 and ending with 2.0 (as made abundantly clear in the 2.0 Roadmap.)

So they won't go back to the original storyline until the "events" are "finished", as in 2.0.

You are just not making any sense. The story of the original quest-line will be improved, and re-released after 2.0, and then continued upon. Just read the damn words.

Explain this? The original quests make ZERO mention of the SUE, because the whole "apocalypse" thing hadn't been invented yet. Of course it will make sense without the quests, because it made perfect sense when I played it at launch.

Yes. You don't know for sure how the map is going to change. My personal theory is because Dalamud will fall due to something the Empire is doing. Some people think all the primals sapping the aether will crack the world in half. You go by the theory the Empire will be successful in summoning their primal and decimate the world. They are all just theories.

Silvertear Falls is a major base of the Empire, you think they'll just pack up and leave after 2.0? You think they'll stop whatever they are doing there? I don't think so. I think the story will go back to how it was before the SUE event started: "The Empire is at Silvertear Falls because that is their main base of operations in Eorzea, and they will continue to be there until we force them out.
