If no one has their tank stance on, they take the same damage, have the same health, and receive the same amount of healing. If all tanks take 1x damage out of their tank stance, and you force one of these tanks to take 2x damage, they can no longer take off their tank stance as they will be nothing but a burden to the healers. This would not only harm them as MT, but also as OT where every raid AOE will do 2x damage to them. I don't think you've thought this through.

i dont recall anywhere me saying warriors should take extra damage outside of tank stance. the point of my posts is that without tank stan e, theyre equal everywhere else and warriors do waaay more damage than other tanks. once again, read please and do not assume things

im not even going to begin to go into why this doesnt make sense, but seeing as we were still waiting.. 3 more patches for the first new job, roughly 9 to 11 months, i doubt they were doing much math concerning drk with such a small dev team... please use your brain

LOL the irony! Anyway, I bet they did, seeing how that's what they're paid to do. You really think the designers haven't run modules with all classes on all content? You just want to argue without thinking it through.

You would be suprised. I'm not saying that such a WAR literally spams BB and never puts up SP or SE, but they will let them fall off if they're fighting for aggro against skilled DPS (happens more than you might think, especially in A2S) or in the case of SP specifically, just don't see the need to apply it because of a toxic mentality that values DPS over mitigation in a lot of scenarios. I've had a WAR actually argue with a group on having SP up 100% because he just didn't think it was necessary, while our WHM was having to spam Cure2 instead of Cure. Silly things like this. Anyway, I'm not the one that originally said they were selfish. Find that guy and talk to him. Their utility is very helpful.

To add to this, even though BB has a higher potency,it is a dps loss compared to an SE rotation. Honestly my MT opener has always been Tomahawk>Heavy Swing>Unchained>Maim>SE>Brutal Swing>then BB combo(all under the effect of IR for increased crits). As long as I have a good enmity lead I just rotate both SP/SE and negate BB unless aggro starts slipping. Even in SA2, a warrior shouldn't have pack aggro problems between OP and Flash(which doesn't break your combo; you can flash between SE/SP combos. all youre missing is 1-2GCD).

This should never be happening...the aggro lead you can establish on single target and AoE groups is ridiculous and the only time they'll be losing aggro is if they get caught off guard or run out of TP (which only happens during AoE situations).

Inner Beast is a self heal based on damage caused, reduce the potency, reduce the amount cured, and since I hit a level 50 striking dummy and it gave me 1.4k HP, i'm not sure why you think this move needs to be reduced.

The 20% damage reduction you're on about, lasts 5 whole seconds. We're not spamming this move, it is more useful to mitigate a tankbuster and when we can also comfortably re-stack before the tankbuster. Increase the time it takes to build stacks from 20 seconds (2.5 sec rotation - 8 moves) to 37.5 seconds (2.5 sec rotation - 15 moves) would impair it too much. Might as well just be made a 30 sec oGCD.

In high tier raids, people don't remove pacification as they focus on other things, like living.

Increasing switch time for Defiance and Deliverance just means more WAR's would stay in deliverance.

Halving TP Regen of Equilibrium? TP is main resource of WAR. My MP is at 3,278 = 5 x Flash with 3 MP regen ticks outside of combat.

If DRK's and PLD's have such a hard time keeping their DPS up against a WAR, why not let the WAR become the MT for that portion of the fight? DPS increased?, problem solved?.

If you increase timers of Vengeance and ToB to 150 seconds, you've just most likely made sure no WAR could ever survive A1S ever again until they became so overgeared that it could be mitigated by HP and spam heals (T4/T5 sound familiar?) if you didn't know, the Tankbuster is on a 120 second rotation in A1S, meaning WAR needs those buffs to mitigate.

This thread made me laugh. That's all I'm gonna say.

I give it a 4/10. A couple of extra points since it isn't an obvious troll thread until you get to self heals being removed. If not a troll thread, such a huge lack of understanding of the job and thought put into these "suggestions" that it's hilarious. Almost all the suggestions are awful.
