Eternal Bond - Standard Plan and Gold Plan

My thoughts: My character in roleplay, is engaged to a friends character. The characters themselves want a simple wedding, nothing too fancy. However, if I like what the mount and minion look like, I might buy us the gold plan, barring it doesn't cost too much. Either way I have to wait and see when the patch comes out, but in character, their wedding isn't even till January anyways.

Realize that the poem is a metaphor... And the metaphor is quite apt in this situation. "Get a grip"

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the overpricing that goes on in SE's cash shop, but I can see merit in it (as I am coming from other MMOs).

If, for example, they had a variant of the 2-seat chocobo in there for like, 5 bucks, I would scoop it up right away.
This Gold wedding? If it's 10 bucks or so? Yeah I'd be down. 20? Maybe.

To those complaining, I sympathize, truly. It's a P2P game, so I agree that everything in the cash shop should be obtainable via in-game currency..but this isn't Guildwars 2...

Unfortunately, we don't know what direction the cash shop will take and that's a little frightening..but here and now, if you're shelling out 15 bucks a month to play a video game and are going to go on a rant about a $5 ghost costumes or a $20+ mount...maybe you need a better job/different hobbies. In the current form, right here and now, what other people buy has no effect on you.

$20 bucks, for something that will make you happy, then by all means go for it. It's about the same as beer-and-pizza night with the wife.

i just realized something.... if i find someone who is willing to pay RL money for "our wedding" and i pay him gil "as thanks for being my husband/wife". will that be considered RMT?

Greedy decision by Yoshi and his team. Plain and simple. I don't even plan on getting married in the game, but this is just outrageous. Yoshi and SE, you are such a disappointment.

How can it be greedy when there's a free option? Just choose the freaking free option Jesus! If you care that much about the damn mount, then buy the damn mount. If you don't care for it, then stop complaining about it. I swear, this is circlejerk all over the first page at this point.

Are there any Japanese speakers who can provide feedback as to what's going on at their side of the forums? If their playerbase is equally upset about this, we may see potential for change (although unlikely now). Thanks in advance.

New raid! Turns 1-2 are freely available, however turns 3-4 will be $3 an attempt per person.

Free option available tho so just stick to turns 1-2 if you do not want to shell out $3.

You can clear Turns 1-2 with the gear you have so there really is no reason for new gear, thus any gear dropped from turns 3-4 is not really necessary and just caters to your own desire to min/max buuuuttt you can get away without it so in the end it is actually optional.
