Which means they're still unlikely to be ever playable. More so if we think about the ARR and SB plot and how it may need some re-writing in some places (more so for ARR, since Garleans are kinda responsible for the Calamity 5 years prior).

Never has a playable race been anything more than a human variant with non human features. I'm talking on the scale on 1.0 to 2.0 server relaunch (to include character migrations, server redesign, and engine remake). This is something that i do not see happening until at least 10.0, that's with the caveat that the game lasts that long. -

Most in this thread have stated they don't want Viera to be a human with bunny ears but thats the most likely scenario for what they'll get; and that doesn't even get into the whole tall vs short argument. The simple fact is, no matter what SE does alot of people will be unhappy. I would argue that their best course of action is to not put them in the game at this point, thats the only way they don't come out of this with a giant headache.Quote:
