i for once are loyal players that plays daily, i just happened to not be biased and say a-ok to every flaws XIV currently have.
also, pretty sure i would if XIV still is bad by the time TERA is localize.
No, that wasn't actually a stab. I was just pointing out that you should play TERA then if you enjoy a game like Monster Hunter, since you said you could sink that much time into an MM game. Hurray for you.
I personally cannot stand anything resembling a Monster Hunter game, and thus my aversion to TERA.
I like MH gameplay, but I have more fun with games that have worse gameplay.
Most of us are not "real gamers" in that sense.

I strongly believe that many of these issues can be solved if the game is redone with DX11 capability. Many if not most of the community has DX11 capable hardware and OS.
On a side note, the manual that came with the collector's edition of the game specifically states that this game recommends a 460 gtx or greater gpu for optimal gameplay. Which generally means this game was designed with the 460gtx in mind, which is one of the earliest DX11 capable, mid-level GPU's.
The game config offers options such as Ambient Occlusion which benefits greatly from DX11. However the game is running off of DX9.
The development has recommended DX11 capable hardware but the game itself is based off of DX9. What gives?
