Seeing as how 1.23 is slated to be the last patch before 2.0, therefore there's only one patch between us and 2.0, I'd imagine those things would probably not be implemented until 2.0 or later.

I finally got my internet set up again two days ago, but I was busy playing patch 1.22 and working so I havn't had much time to work on getting the OP updated.
I did add some pretty pictures and also updated with information from the yoshi-p post in this thread.
Cheers, will do more when I have time.
edit: I decided to stay up a bit later and I think I'm mostly caught up now. Let me know if I missed something.
/bump for new players
This may be a little bit off topic, but I really hope Gilgamesh is a much more centric character than he was in FFXI. Hopefully both an ally and a boss at some point, and certainly with the humorous slant similar to what he had in FFXII.
Thoroughly testing 2.0 will not have "that" much of an effect, Beta testing is about everything really BUT they're porting over all (or almost all) of the content in this current version over to it which has already been tested and bugs sorted out.
The only testing we're likely to do is graphical since all content will work since its just copy/pasted from this version of the game.
PS3 users will need a test though since its going to be in OpenGL and not DirectX and the game will be programmed differently.
Anyone think it's likely that when you first start up 2.0 there will be a cut scene stating that an allotted time has past? If Dalamud crashes, or lands, or does anything that would change the face of the planet (or at least Eorzea), it wouldn't make sense that in the game world it would just change over night.
