By pity Square Enix, redesign Garuda-Egi

You are using a very unflattering picture in an attempt to "win" the argument, and do not even consider a few things about the two: There is at the minimum a 2 year gap between when Garuda-Egi was created and Midgarsormr was. The Egis are actually a bit more complex models even with their lower res textures due to the fact that their glow will cycle between dim and bright.

All three Egi's have fairly decent models the only real problem I see is the low res texture (which I suspect is part of what allows the shifting glow of her and the others to work) on the flat surfaces of Garuda-Egi.

I, personally, never understood why people hated the egis so much. They look perfectly fine to me. Never really thought egi glamours were necessary either.

To each their own I guess, but I still find it a waste of time/resources to be making glamours for just one class/job.

Because people feel lied to that the previous FF summons are WAY COOLER AND BIGGER and the summons here aren't, those summons being the Egis. People are also ignoring the fact the Primals exist and they're the true form of the eidolons in the game.

I like the look of the current Egi's ..

Most of the stuff in the game has bad detail even armor when you zoom in. Also how often would someone actually zoom into their egi? There is no point to it. Most of the time your camera is zoomed out and detail looks fine from a far. I'm not saying the detail is amazing or anything just that zoomed in detail which you will rarely see during combat doesn't really matter.

So far most of your arguments hardly hold any weight to why they should waste resource to make something look better when they could spend that time elsewhere like actual content. Also seems quite a few people so far have said they like the current egi.

Actual content? You mean like LoV and Diadem that no one uses? At least a huge majority would like the Egi upgrade. c:

There are people in Diadem actually have you done relic? A item is required from there. Some people are farming spoils for tier v materia for 3.2. It may not be many but there are people doing it and they are gradually making adjustments to Diadem.
