That's a pretty heavy accusation. I highly doubt they ban anyone for simply having an opinion about something. Usually it depends on the way you express your opinion, and whether you break the rules or defy moderator guidance. There is so much criticism posted on this forum regularly that I highly doubt they're in the business of banning people for being critical in a reasonable way.

They banned quite a few people simply for quoting yoshi in their signature on the topic of player housing.

It was that simple, I myself had to remove that from my sig to avoid a ban.

They banned me for it. Something about "criticizing SE development staff".

Anyway, just another reason to let my sub run out. Shame too. Watch DRK only be available after paying $20 after buying the Expansion.

Maybe because there is a forum rule against "Posting content with the intention of criticizing either Square Enix staff or specific individuals." ?

That's just it though, if you have an official forum for users to use, being criticized and praised is all par for the course, but this is getting off-topic. Have you not read the entire thread yet? I know DRK is gonna be in the expansion, but I was joking by then SE would put some aspect of DRK behind a pay-wall too.

They've actually banned me once before for something somebody else wrote. The second time I was banned for calling somebody ignorant, while others get away with calling people brain-dead and other, harsher things. They can ban you on a whim if they so desire, and the support won't help you out, you'll only get the same copy&paste response every time you try to appeal a ban.

Please stop assuming. I have more then adequate funds. I even stated I spent a lot of money on f2p games for vanity items. However, I still dont agree with paying a sub and having a cash shop at the same time.

So yea, please stop assuming everyone against this is poor.
