You have to keep in mind gear/materia favors crit more than determination. Determination is in vastly lower quantities on gear than crit.

Thats true, I have almost double the amount of crit.

What does that mean for us?

Intuitively, more crit means more of a modifier for determination, which would favor determination even more than I assumed.
