I'd like to see this as well. And perhaps even the possibility of taming several monsters so we can catch our own pets. I'd really like one of those cute ornery karakul from coerthas central highlands as a pet.

id like to see housing literally made by the crafters from the walls and ceilings to the items inside them would give us crafters a feeling of contributing and not just being a thing to do when your 50
added stats to Crafting, Contol and CP when crafting in the workshop.
I really do hope we get aquariums at some point. I've got at least one of every "legendary" fish available, plus three boatloads of goldfish. I want to display them.
I'll put my house right on the beach in the Mist too, in an open display of mockery towards Llymlaen.
Wouldnt it be more encouraging for the players to actually do 'stuff' in their houses everyday if they get a very small bonus for doing it? Like, call it a character happiness bonus and the buff's duration would be similar to the company action duration and influences all action by..like, 1-2%? Gather success rate, catch success rate, Craft quality bonus, attack/heal/defense bonus? For doing the suggested emote stuff, I mean.
How about specific storage? IE Weapon stands for weapons, armor displays for your armor, refrigerators for certain ingredients, pantries/larders for everything else.
How about "inspiration" buffs? Look at a fish tank to inspire you to catch more fish. +% of catching HQ fish. Or training on dummies/archery targets to get "Battle Ready" which increases the main battle stat by like 1-5? Train using the archery target as a BRD to get +2 DEX for a few hours. Attack the training dummy as a DRG and get +3 STR. Longer you train, the bigger the bonus, nothing too much, but as an added bonus for spending the money and time to get a FC HQ.
I'd love to see this as well. :D
Anyway, here's what I'd love to see:
1. DoH, like Carpenter or Armorer, makes food container
2. Like FC Vault, FC members with high enough authority can put Food (made by CUL) in the container (and vise versa in case of taking the food out)
3. Every member in FC can select food your FC provided in the container
4. Container can store up to 3 different dishes in order to avoid using it in place of Vault
5. One house is limited to a set number of food containers
6. (optional) At FC workshop, you can make specific food there that cannot eat directly, but you have to place it in food container in order to eat it. This will urge people to come to FC house more!
I just want bigger lot sizes. Something like a full function farm/ranch with just a few neighbors(miles away). basically this
Minion hide and seek. I made a thread in the suggestions forums about it.
The whole FC housing idea reminds me of Atlantica's housing, where a player can invite guild members over to their house (individual player house) for what's called a "Feast" to get a buff that lasts an hour or two. Also, as an added bonus when you ate, you turned into a little creature of some kind (it seemed to be random depending on the meal offered) and could run around doing funny emotes and stuff. Could be a mushroom, raccoon, whatever. Feasts are more like a little party, it seemed, here's one to illustrate a bit better:

Can make chairs and tables and other furniture out of GOLD and curtains made of shimmering dyable VANYA?
Hello everyone!
I'm sure you will all be happy to hear that the team is in the midst of preparing workbench furnishings like many of you have requested to be implemented in patch 2.2. :D
Yay, something for the non-existent housing market.
Sorry for the sarcasm, but at least on the legacy servers people can't buy land... Which means pretty much all the furnishings don't sell...
I real though the OPs link and that thread is two years old but theres some very interesting things in there.

Just to clarify any confusion about the differences between private rooms (like the inns in 1.21) and personal housing, I wanted to share a few details on the two. Personal housing and inns are completely separate entities and inns will not turn into housing in the future.
In the housing that is planned for 2.0, players will be able to customize many aspects of their housing including furniture, but it will be difficult for players to be able to own a home. Due to the difficulty of obtaining a house, we will be preparing inns as private areas for players to use until they own their own home.
We will be providing more details about inns soon, so hang on a bit for that announcement. "
2 years ago they announced that housing would be difficult to get. Somebody came in with a comment that it might cost hundreds of millions of gil. They were probably joking!
It's always nice to be the bearer or good news once in a while. :)
House prices on legacy servers are still in the fall. We wait until it reach the final price.

Right. Then this successful (LOL) housing content will explode, everyone will buy houses and market will flourish right?
Yeee, maybe 1 house on this game will enjoy this content yeee... this is what we need and request ..
Dev team never tought about dungeon's buffs being on that house? (Buff altar is crafted obiouvsly) Oh ye, there is an other incoming mmo where housing is implemented as cool content, right
Tell dev team we already have Phantasy Star online 2 with this exact content. This thread has some cool ideas.
Anything new incoming?
Any plans to increase the number of items we can place? My FC has a L-size house now and we struggle to keep it filled with furniture alone, let alone flower pots and picture frames and such.
Don't know about dungeon buffs, but items with FC buffs are planned

A: I've mentioned a couple of things here and there in the past, like placing items such as towers on your property. By placing various items around the house, players can receive a variety of different enhancing effects. As an example, you and your friends or free company members can receive a two-week-long EXP bonus or a bonus to gil received. Of course, we won't create anything that pressures players into buying a house, but they will still have benefits.Quote:
Any plans to increase the amount of items you can place in Large houses?
Even filling every room with the biggest things possible, it's impossible to break up all of the negative space. I'd love to add paintings or flowers or chairs or other small things that make a house look like a home. 250 would be perfect. 200 means at least one floor is going to have like nothing on it.
