Wait until everyone's been billed

If this were a wide-spread problem, you'd have more than 15 poeple posting about it, out of the 400,000 players that ti's working for. There might be a problem with a handful but it's not a majority.

And the delay isn't the wait to find everyone, it's an instance to be ready, otherwise it would say 0/1 for one of hte jobs. Still not ideal though.

I am not sure i will sub to this game when my free days run out.

There is not enough ways of Gil generation.

Bots are mining crafting crystals by the thousand's per bot who are in turn are making a huge amounts of Gil
and then selling it on to RMT sites that are buying it and spamming chat 24 hours a day.

SE do not seem to be doing a lot about it reports have been made for weeks and the bots are still at it.

There needs to be some GM's that are actually in game so any reports about Bot's/Spam can go directly to them and they can instant ban the accounts (after they have witnessed it for themselves) It's not hard to spot a mining bot that just teleports from one node to another.

Do IP blocks from Japan connecting to NA/EU and vice versa (only after server transfer is in operation) People transferring from JP to NA/EU and vice versa get a 1 time free transfer.

I may come back have a look 2 or 3 months after to check if anything does improve.

Same here, No sub for the following:

• Gil spam / bots
• Crazy lag, Canadian servers,
• Hour+ long Duty finders waits (and the party falls apart)
• One dungeon for myth tomestones
• Missing simple things, like right click ignore, or Inventory sort.
• Worst Customer Service I have ever dealt with.
  
  I also don't want to fate grind other classes, I would have liked to option to re do the quests

Not over keen on the community either (may improve after the free times runs out, may get worse who knows.)

For a game that's a re-boot (So god knows how much development time overall) I thinks its rather poor overall, So as above I will perhaps take another look in a few months IF this fabled 2.1 patch is released on time..

I'd agree that Aion and SWTOR are shitty, also I understand why GW1 players wouldn't like GW2 (they're wrong, but hey what can you do?) I figure FFXIV will go for about 6 months, then switch to F2P and implement a cash shop. That or they'll just hang on with as few subs as possible. Ragnarok Online somehow held on with <10,000 subs. P2P MMO's just dont' really work anymore.

It's a brand new world, time to catch up.

I wouldn't mind if they release GW2 under a different name. They released a Guild Wars game without the Guild vs Guild PvP... which is Guild Wars! I have spent over 2000 hours on Guild Wars 1, finished Tyria and Cantha at 100% and Elona at 80% and did tons of high-end PvP. To me, GW2 seems just like a generic MMO that lacks flair.

FF14 has issues, I agree. However, I am hopeful that the issues will get fixed. I love this game (the third MMO that I really liked out of the huge amount of MMO that I played) and I will give this game a chance. I really hope that FF14 will succeed with P2P model because honestly, I feel that P2P always have a better community than F2P games. Also, I think SE deserves some money for this amazing game.

Personally I wouldn't be puting GW2 up there as any sort of shining light in the MMORPG sphere. And with F2P games I've played and spent money in a number of titles and now I'm done with them, unless of course you like lockboxes and being at first gently pushed and then at any sort of end-game shoved into the cash shop, yep no thanks.

Happily subbed for 180 with auto renewal. I expect to be around a long time. I won't be billed for another month tho, as I bought and applied a PS3 CE to my 1.0 legacy account. I guess that means I wait another month for Veteran rewards.

That's funny, I'm a 1.0 player and I was on all morning. Got an email saying I'd been billed, and I got my subscription minion. Had you not already set up your billing plan? I set it up way back at the beginning, since I already knew I was going in for the long haul.

I was hoping to get billed so I could get some vet rewards. But, it looks like I won't be billed for a while now. I'm not legacy, bought the game on PC, then also bought it on PS3. It appears that I got 30 days from PC, 7 days from SE, AND 30 from the PS3 version? Does that sound right? Making my first payment due early November?

The veteran rewards are lame... I still have 49 days remaining. No need to pay for anything now.

Im a legacy member, and had all my registration and auto renew set up correctly only to find out i am not able to log in cause of error 401/601 and my sub did not get auto renewed ...... sadpanda now waiting that long journey on chat and phone que

Every. Single. User. is entitled to his/her opinion, and that opinion is entirely based off that individuals personal experiences. This game is made up of hundreds of thousands of individuals each with their own experiences and opinions. Those who will stay will do so entirely based on their own experiences. Just because their experience wasn't the same as yours, or things that bothered you didn't bother them is hardly justification for blatantly disregarding opinions that are in disagreement with your own. Every users experiences absolutely matter. For what is a MMO more than an experience?
