Stop casting regen on your party/tank before pulls.

Maybe Im odd but I don't use regen on trash fights. It's usually over so fast that need to think about it. I usually only use it during boss fights when the tanks taking some low level damage intermitently that isnt really enough to cast a cure and it gives me a little bit of breathing room.

Well thats probably because it says you are 31 and you get regen at 35...

Incase maybe the forums have your level wrong, you will use it when you actually get to tougher dungeons or have badly geared tanks.

I have a 42 whm on leviathan but moved to hyperion and started over when it finally opened up.

It seems really strange to me that enmity generated by HP recovered from regen is assigned to the person who casted the regen, rather than the person who has the regen effect, and it's even more strange that the assignment isn't done only once at cast time (so monsters not on the aggro list at the time of cast would have no knowlege of it). I guess it's a comprimise due to its incredibly strong effect in this game.

I'm sorry, WHAT? Are you... perhaps... new to MMO's? Why WOULD the HP recovered as part of a healer buff generate hate towards the target? What do you think makes half the strategy in these games, and produces logical thought and action for the tank to keep hate off his group, and when he goes down, heals typically follows? ALL heals are SUPPOSED to generate enmity. That's 99% of the reason there is such a thing as bad heals, and 99% of the reason you have to be semi-functional and alert to heal, otherwise you're just a Heal-DPS faceroll and your job could just as easily have been done by macroing cure cure cure cure cure cure cure cure cure cure cure cure cure and starting it the moment a fight is initiated. Regen is supposed to work like ticking threat, because little is changed in mechanics as the end result is still HP being transferred to another player in much the same way as cure, just in smaller doses over time your tank can manage easier as far as enmity is concerned.

In all seriousness, did you even THINK about what you said before you said it?

as i play both i don't cast it on the tank till he's got some aggro built up. Like the above poster said that is healing 101. relying on them to cancel it because i can't change my ways is silly.

when ever the first boss in coil splits into 2, sometimes my fairy pulls cause it has regen on and im like uggg lol

but yea my fairy takes the threat i don't, and she can take a bunch of hits so its all good.
